as long as the money is right you are welcome to come in for anyone in the squad. but the money has to be right and no, we are not accepting arsene wenger 40 million plus 1 type offers. remember, we are also funding a stadium that isn't hosting the copa del rey final

According to RMC, Ndombele is leaning towards Juve.

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
Seems to be like if you paid 100 mil for cristiano's carcass to win the CL you ought to build the team on a shirt term basis to maximize his strength for the remainder of his contract.
Did any of your forwards truly performed in the knockout stage vs Atletico and ajax besides CR? Seems like no, you have a whole lot of deadass players upfront.

Bernardeschi was motm after cristiano vs Atletico and Dybala was great until he got injured vs Ajax.
The problem is the midfield being unable to provide appropriate service and control. Our forwards 100% carried us this season.

Bernadeschi was the only cumulative performer after Cristiano in the two ties overall but beyond that no one in particular as Juventus lack a total goal threat beyond the Portuguese.

I've seen him only on YT, but I don't like him too much. Foregoes easy passes for mindless dribbling that he's not as good at as he thinks he is. Also, his passing motion is ugly af, wouldn't surprise me if he'll have hip impingement in a few years.

Unfortunately, his performance in the 2nd leg was so bad that, if the head of state had been a dictator and a Juve fan, he would have executed him.

So what kind of player is Ndombele? @sports @nick @doc
I only saw him once or twice in the CL. YouTube hype tells me he is exactly what I want, but you never know with highlights.

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
He is very good, box to box type of players, he is a great athlete so you want to put him in a situation where he can leverage his athleticism. The way he contorts his body at times to evade the high press is ridiculous.
Ultimately for him it's gonna come down to learning when to take risks in midfield to dribble and to release the ball faster, this is what could hold on him. But you look at some of his games vs City, PSG, Monaco, Lille, the best teams he faced and he was spectacular at times.
I would definitely sign him if i was Zidane, that's very clear for me.

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
According to Momblan (iirc he was the first to say Ronaldo at Juve way before it happened), Allegri's chances of staying are 1% and Juve are after a big name with Conte the second option.
Huh... if Conte is not a big name, then who is from those somewhat possible? Pep? Pochettino? Sarri???!! Di Francesco?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
@Rincon... Ndombele is the most talented young CM in France. He's far better than Rabiot. The only issue to watch out with him is mentality. He's either brilliant or horrible. Never just average lol. So he needs a firm hand in terms of management. Conte would be perfect.
Other than that, what Nick said. He's best as a B2B. But he can play all traditional CM positions. His stamina isn't always the best (again, needs firm hand and better training) and needs to develop a better scoring touch.
I'd take him in a heartbeat. But there are risks associated with him, no doubt.

With all those compliments, just wanna point out his decision making can be really sketchy so he is still a work in progress, fine midfield talent though. Also, a club like Jjuve would actually be ideal for him but I prefer him at Madrid. Duh.

Momblano has finally revealed who is the big name and it's Pep. According to him, it would be a shock if Allegri stays. Pep has agreed to be the coach of Juventus, but he still needs to free himself from Man City. Conte is the backup option, but he won't wait for too long becuse he has other offers, too.

Off the top of my head, there are only three CL winning coaches available: Pep, Jose and Carlo. Which one would you recommend
Sure, we could have offered more to Zizou, but, we're not the luckiest of teams in European competitions and we're capable of buying only Italian refs.

He actually has a decent track record, but his problem is that he tries to build up the anticipation for his scoops. Most journalists give out the news as soon as they have it, he comes off as trying to get the most clicks.

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
Pep and Ronaldo are compatible ? I doubt so
Would City sack him ? I also have doubts
Anyways if Max is really leaving, i prefer Pep to any realistic candidate. Simply because he is an elite coach unlike anyone else who's "available" except Conte. Gasperini is a bargain i'd take if no elite coach is available.
But Conte i'm not so down. I prefer a complete change, a deep breathe of fresh air and Guardiola can give us that. Dybala and Pjanic (players expected to make a difference in CL) would play up to their true potential under him.
Of course this is all hypothetical stuff
Can't decide if want Allegri out or not. I doubt we can get a better coach but i also think the negative wheel might keep on rolling if he stays.

If Pep really wants to come, then he sees himself compatible with Ronaldo. It's not about City sacking him, it's about allowing him to leave. It's unclear what agreement they have regarding this

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
If Guardiola wants to come, it's mostly at the perspective of winning his Grand Slam, only Serie A is missing and Juve is so far the safest road.
We're talking about someone whose ego is the same size as Ronaldo here. I don't think he considers "am i a good fit with Ronaldo" as really important thing until the day after he is hired. That would be a grey zone until we see the team on the field.
It's not surprising if Pep stays at City, he's well paid there and he can still achieve more in european cup. They are stacked as hell already, he can have any player he wants at disposal in next mercato.

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
I do believe Pep will go to Juve, probably not this season but maybe next. It’s clear he wants to coach the most stacked team in each major league, he explicitly mentioned something about wanting to experience all the major football cultures.
Good luck winning the CL though

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
The real question is will Ronaldo work hard enough? Because his play style won't be an issue tbh.
Aguero doesn't play that different these days and he works just fine.

Re: Juventus summer 2019 special
I would argue that Aguero operates better is smaller spaces though and this matters because Guardiola is all about making the pitch smaller, shirt combinations and dribbling in closed space... This does not fit Cristiano at all.
The way that I see this viable is Pep threating CR like he did Muller at Bayern, playing with 3 at the back and giving him a free role down the middle where he can make runs to the box, and not much else...
