Mildly surprised Juve aren't going for Atalanta CB Mancini. Absolute stud for them and will likely go for big money now this summer. Would love to see him at Roma (could happen with getting Gasp), but I had him pegged as a future fixture in Juve's transfer rumor mill.

Have to say that I find Italian journos continuing to insist on this Pep to Juve story in such forceful and detailed manner rather bizarre.

Pep Guardiola remains fully committed to his contract and role at Manchester City, claims Alberto Galassi, with “nonsensical” reports of an imminent move to Juventus being rubbished.

I mean, it was obvious it was never happening anyway, they'll get some provinciale numpty that'll do nothing in the CL as usual. Italian journalists just like having something to talk about.

Sounded more like shifting the responsibility/blame onto Pep and Juventus than a denial just like their official line of communications: "we stand by Pep's comments from last week." Okay then.

Juventus didn't deny anything so far, but their shares rose again, so CONSOB will probably ask them to put out a statement, just like last year.

Because it was righ before the cup final and he had said similar things when he was at Bayern? He also added "that is why I think today, but the football changes a lot..." just like Agnelli added "we will have to talk" when he said that Allegri would stay.

We demand clear statements, free of context and without ifs and buts and not half assed interviews given in other countries by some board members.

It's clear for you.. Agnelli was as clear as day, too, in the post Ajax interview and I heard he was even more clear afterwards with the rest of the reporters. But it was a lie
