The get a PC crowd make me laugh, like the no 1 reason we buy a PS4/5 is because it has games we can't get anywhere else not the shiny box it comes in.

Looks like Sony is changing its exclusivity policy though, Horizon Zero Down and Death Stranding are being released for PC and there are rumors that TLOU2 will come to PC at some point.

Not really.

Horizon isn't selling anymore so that makes sense as they want to use it to sell a sequel.

Death Stranding was never an exclusive, Sony themselves have said they have no plans to change how they treat exclusive games.

PS5, they have too many great developers i know i can trust.

With that said if Xbox proves worthy of my cash i don't mind eventually getting both.

So, so far the guy is comparing theoretical SSD read values with HDD practical values (on a very unfragmented HDD, mind), and concluding on amazing improvements.

Not to mention SSDs have been staple in PC gaming for almost a decade but I'm sure it will get a lot of plebs and peasants happy Laughing

The nextgen will still be closest of PC, consoles have ever been. Xnux GPU will actually be faster than what I just bought (5700XT). Of course when they release, Big Navi will be out, and they're still nowhere close of top line PC, the peesants. Smile

Xbox has more raw power, PS5 is faster.

That's the long and short of it, but it's obviously deeper than that.

Basically this.

But honestly we should of known this considering it was termed as "deep dive into the system architecture ".

Strange. PS4 Pro 100 million edition has 2TB storage. But they did say before game installation will be more efficient. Like you can uninstall a single player portion of the game but sill keep the multiplayer part.

I'm really excited for open world games in the next gen. Gonna have way more details while being larger in size. Can't imagine what GTA 6 will be like.

Depends how it's designed, as we know it sure but it might be as necessary to have a big hard drive as current system is.

Actually on the contrary I remember back in the cartirdge days they'd charge as high as 70 or 80 USD. Since the disk came out standard games have been roughly ~$59.99 new

Much cheaper all things considered.

I remember the first 3d game at home people actually wanted, Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo, being damn near 90 bucks in 1994. That was more than even a gameboy pocket would cost years later:

Cartridge games were pretty expensive. I owned a shit ton of burned/pirated Playstation games during the 90s, which is probably why I associate that decade with games being laughably cheap Razz

So the specs are presented.

Can anyone summarise which ones are better between the XBOX and PS5?

It'll help me decide which console to get because unlike the mass amounts of losers who have allegiance to a company, I literally could not give a fuck.
