Re: 2018/19 Calcio Saga

Best way to sum up that ridiculous Nainggolan volley that definitely knew where it was going to be placed by him. Incredible atmosphere right when he did and the Interisti were livid right after.
When Cristiano scored his very tactically set-up goal I thought of Robes immediately because Handanovic once again performed his Augustus of Prima Porta act by not moving for a (beautiful left-footed) shot that COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED but of course we should know why he does what he does in that regard.
Brozovic indeed is a terrific midfielder and above all excels in his extremely high footballing IQ. Was great in the World Cup as well.
Allegri does not surprise me in his post match interview as its often you have him spar with the media and openly as like Mourinho some of the Italian tactically based questions really do get on his nerves and Spalletti, classy and suave as always was entertaining to see on the other side of the mic.

You have that backwards. Spalletti is famous for his attitude, rants and fights. Allegri rarely loses it in the media.

So Rainieri did manage to put out one more fire and has Roma unbeaten in 5, back to CL spots.
Need Torino to get points today and Atalanta could be 4th by Monday.

"I'm the one talking now. Shut up" - "No, that's what you say to your brother"
AHAHHA It was exhilarating , I had watched it live because I am Sky Italy subscriber.
There is a reason for it.
Adani and Allegri don't love each other. During last Inter-Juve (2-3) , Allegri justified himself saying that " there are not schemes on basket, you give ball to the best player and you win" ( but lol ? and in fact Adani said yesterday " if you want we can talk again about basket. Why isn't Lebron James on play-off this year ? )
That was the first thing. But not the definitive.
The fuse was the hard analysis made by Adani about Allegri after Juve-Ajax
Allegri beared a grudge against him for it and he ranted to the first chance
Basically Allegri could showhis supremacy towards Adani legitimally but saying " I've won 6 Scudetti, so shut up " is just a show of weakness or nervousness more than supremacy imo

We will lose. I resigned myself to it. Piatek and Paqueta gave us a boost but Inter ended our fake form.

Nah, it is just because Allegri wins 90 % of matches in Serie A and brutal CL eliminations are rare.
But he is arrogant and he doesn't accept criticism.
As 90 % of managers from Tuscany . Every coach who cames from that region is this .They should limit to write books because they're unbearable

There are libraries of Spalletti's rants, fines and fights. Calling him suave and classy as always can't be further from the truth. Nothing compared to Allegri regarding his attitude on the field and in the media.

Re: 2018/19 Calcio Saga
I've never said this about Spalletti.
Spalletti is touchy and irritable.
But Allegri is same.
You notice it just less because he's never criticized .. but when it happens you get things as yesterday

@kaLadin the highlight of your season won't even be visiting Slovak farms and getting battered next season, it'll be a deep copa Italia run at best

It is quite amusing how Milan went from a team looking to comfortably consolidate itself in the top 4 to the team that may even fail to reach EL with the recent performances of the past few months.

It's a matter of saving the rest of the season ala Roma, making CL. If they don't believe that Gattuso has this then it makes sense. Tense moments for Milan.

My post remarks more on Spalletti's in general personality not when it comes to pundits and the media, but outside of where he is remarked for his persona.
Allegri I suppose more is when he was within Milan where the sudden elevation of scrutiny from Cagliari to San Siro, obviously is a huge jump.
I do not blame either for what they do in the media as Italian pundits are like no other in straight after the heat of the game asking the most in-depth tactical questions and somewhat provocative that are true headaches and Mourinho in his back and forth with the media was famous for that, given his general attraction of such figures had them ask questions on the nature of the game that are never asked in other leagues.
I do get why Adani was given such treatment by Allegri given Adani as a whole really is nothing but a couch critic.

Brescia promoted to Serie A after 8 years.
If I'm not wrong @Arquitescu has origins there.
Fantastic day for the 2nd city in Lombardia.
Good to forget the incredible season of their main rivals, Atalanta, in race for CL place and Coppa Italia final..
