Sorry Doesn't change the fact when you are main focal point of team(along with Neymar )and already a superstar people expect far better.. Specially if you are top five player in the world.. Is not like his team lost by 9-0. When your team losing by 1-0. Means both team are neck to neck and you show your true ability and win the game for your team.

Tbh we didn't lose the tie because Mane didn't score. We lost it because our backup keeper gifted Atletico a goal after we were already 2-0 up having absolutely dominated the match. That Adrian mistake was a such a momentum swinger and gut puncher it was ridiculous.

If anything this game proves he can't play as a lone 9. His great forms with Monaco, France, PSG all come from playing alongside a true 9 (Falcao, Giroud, Cavani)

He was really poor against United last season too, don't think one can use the excuse then. Nevertheless he's only 21 and has insane talent under his feet still plenty of time.

Zidane doesn’t control the ball like Marcus Rashford.

His technique is average for a 89/95 player tbh. Can’t play in tight spaces, his shooting is VERY hit and miss, his passing is average and his touch is so loose it makes my eyes cry

Don’t get me started on his left foot Laughing

He’s one injury away from mediocrity as he’s just as or even more dependent on pace than Torres or Kaka (who were technically superior, in the case of Kaka no comparison)

He probably hasn’t lived up to expectations in some big matches lately, but I think his talent is quite obvious, and he did play in the final despite nursing an ankle injury. I’d sure as hell take him over Jadon Sancho any day of the week, and they’re roughly the same age.

As much as I think Rashford has a relatively limited overall set of skills, the discussion around his quality is quite contested on here Razz
