Meh, he's pretty good on his day, I will admit, but his good days are few and far between.
About Borussia Dortmund level, I'd say.

Jay29 wrote:See, this is the problem with United's transfer strategy. They're backing Solksjaer's desire for young, hungrier players who will run all day and "play for the shirt", but if/when he loses his job, the next guy coming in probably won't want Sean Longstaff or Dan James. He'll want something else, and United will back him, and the squad will keep lacking balance without any real identity.
There's no defending of how we go about our business days. Having said that I dont think 'young, hungrier' players will be that much of a problem for whoever comes in next really. If it was the other way around., that is more more Sanchez type of players, then it would be a problem, having seen the approach fail spectacularly so far. And I dont think the club will be able to attract WC managers anyway after the inevitable sacking of Ole. Some middle tier manager will come in next who have a record with youth.
So yea, Wouldnt mind the Longstaff's and James's if the alternative is some one like a Gareth Bale.

Told United are actively looking at players they won't be 'outbid' for. Only competition they had for Daniel James was from Brighton and they could have a free run at Longstaff. Not currently facing any competition for Wan-Bissaka, either. #mufc

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours and News 2019
Utd need to fill the squad with players for whom playing for Utd is an improvement and a chance, not a step back or a retirement cushion.
Except Bale. Utd should get Bale IMO.

Also, according to marca, it's 10 mil loan + 40 mil obligation to buy next summer.

United are keen to sign a new right-back following the departure of captain Antonio Valencia, and Crystal Palace's Wan-Bissaka is understood to be one of their top targets.

Now I could counter this with the number of Championship players and lower table players Liverpool has signed over the last few years, but honestly I dont even feel like it. Not going to defend this club and the clowns who are in charge of it anymore, not while they are handing out 3 year contracts to the Juan Mata's of this world. It's a bit tiresome. We are pretty much done.

You know, as hilarious as this is, what if these players actually improve Utd? The whole weird galacticos nonsense they were doing is not working and perhaps getting players who would love to play for Utd and not trying to cash in would be way more ideal at this current venture.
I don't know, I wouldn't laugh just yet. Feel this could work out for them.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours and News 2019
-Di Maria bought and played on RW, when his best position for Real was LCM
-Depay: Dutch league stomper who's stomping in France now
-Falcao: Tail end of his career
-Pogba: played in a 3-5-2 that allowed him to roam/hide/do what he wants as long as he shielded Pirlo.
-Mkhitaryan: Raiola whispered in Woodward's ears
-Zlatan: arguably the only good transfer they've made of the ones listed here
-Lukaku: Was always a donkey, he can bang 900 goals a year and be PL top scorer and i still would never rate him, same as Immobile.
-Sanchez: Sudo-americano trait, hit late 20s, get a great contract and phone it in week in week out
-Fred: On my life, no one on this forum has seen him outside Whoscored/youtube
United's transfer policy has been summed up perfectly by Jay, as long as Woodward is there they're at the behest of agents and player clout.

Exactly Longstaff would have a statue built for him outside San Siro tbh.
