Told United are actively looking at players they won't be 'outbid' for. Only competition they had for Daniel James was from Brighton and they could have a free run at Longstaff. Not currently facing any competition for Wan-Bissaka, either. #mufc

I think it's the right strategy.

Utd need to fill the squad with players for whom playing for Utd is an improvement and a chance, not a step back or a retirement cushion.

Except Bale. Utd should get Bale IMO.

marca reporting that we have not accepted Napoli's offer. we want to sell outright, Di Marzio needs to be careful or he is gonna take another L.

Also, according to marca, it's 10 mil loan + 40 mil obligation to buy next summer.

Now I could counter this with the number of Championship players and lower table players Liverpool has signed over the last few years, but honestly I dont even feel like it. You know, as hilarious as this is, what if these players actually improve Utd? The whole weird galacticos nonsense they were doing is not working and perhaps getting players who would love to play for Utd and not trying to cash in would be way more ideal at this current venture.

-Falcao: Tail end of his career
-Pogba: played in a 3-5-2 that allowed him to roam/hide/do what he wants as long as he shielded Pirlo.

-Zlatan: arguably the only good transfer they've made of the ones listed here
-Lukaku: Was always a donkey, he can bang 900 goals a year and be PL top scorer and i still would never rate him, same as Immobile.

United's transfer policy has been summed up perfectly by Jay, as long as Woodward is there they're at the behest of agents and player clout.
