You mean like Arsenal of old? Nothing has changed.

Sat back deliberately. We were lucky not to concede more than one and counter attack was perfect. It worked so far. Now we have a fight.

Lingard should've got a yellow after this, but didn't deserve the first one. I think it's fair.

We haven't done nearly enough to test United this half. All we've done is pass the ball around on the left side of the box while providing no service.

While leaving only 2 at the back because hey, counters aren't that dangerous, right?

Poor stuff from us and Emery tonight.

Ah, lol. An Arsenal fan threw a coin at Lingard or Rashford. Something similar happened before to Rio at Etihad in 2012, but it actually hit him near the eye.

I think it's fair. I believe Koscielny was on the pitch for about 7 mins.

Not to mention United take about 40 seconds to take a throw in

Feels like Arsenal fans thought they have 10 mins to leave the stadium when the ref showed the added time.

Anyway... this: Thumbs up

I'll give credit where its due. United did their homework on the defensive weakness on our left flank and made sure to exploit it. Herrera did a good job ensuring Young wasn't overloaded with Lukaku high up the pitch.

On the other hand, Arsenal played poorly tonight. Low effort defending and predictable attacking patterns. Very disappointing after the effort they put in against Chelsea last week.

Ozil with one of the worst cameos i have ever seen. The whole Arsenal got so lazy after he came on.

Nailbiter finish to Accrington vs Derby, finishes 1:0 for Derby, who had to 80 minutes to score, with Accrington being down to ten after an hour.

Then, Derby were down to 10 too after a last man foul preventing Accrington from scoring the equalizer, the ensuing free kick almost went in.

The Accrinton Stanley manager, John Coleman, seems worth a mention here:
He's been Accrington manager before fro 1999 to 2012, taking the club from non-league Northern Premier League Division One. that's the 8th tier, to League Two (4th tier).
He then left for a couple of years to return in 2014, and now got the club promoted again to League One, where they're 14th at the moment.

Impressive stuff, and his Accrington Stanley team dominated Lampard's Derby even after being down to 10.

Desperation for RG

Just wishes he had a manager the caliber of Poch. Hasn't had one since '06.

Didn't see anything but first 30 minutes. Really terrible, but Poch threw in the towel. Was a complete B team except for Vertonghen and Davinson.

I started to earlier but I'm souring on Sanchez. I don't think he has what it takes to be a starting CB right now. Still very young though, maybe he'll come through eventually

Chelsea will play Man U in the next round, it is incredible how City keep dodging any worthwhile opponent. In the other cup comp we faced Spurs over two legs, while they faced league 1 team Burton. Chelsea also matchup up against Liverpool early in the league cup.

City haven't played anyone will play in two final cup games.
