On paper, Liverpool should be able to murder Bayern until there's no voice left to sing at their Arena.

In reality, the outcome could be different. We'll see.

I'd say we smash them were it not for the fact we won't have played a team even remotely as good as Liverpool all season all up to February

Still, our team would comfortably be able to see a B-level team like Liverpool off were it not for the terrible way Kovac sets us up.

But the way things are, Liverpool are surely favourites.

Prefer Pool going through. I mean we can't go a third season knocking out Bayern, they'll get us this time so prefer not seeing them progress

Saw the highlights of Ajax-Bayern, 3-3; I just cant wait for the match really. And I think this game is nicely balanced, neither team being favourites.
The best thing will be, VanDjik will be back for the second leg at Allianz and we just have to manage the home leg somehow and I hope Gomez is fit for that game. If Gomez is fit for us for that game, we will be 51-49 favourites

Will be a great matchup, proper test for Hans and his loyalties imo

bayern not playing well at the moment and liverpool have been dire in the UCL this season so it could go either way

Liverpool's best defender after VanDjik is still injured so doesn't matter if you pick up 11 Bayerischen from your football streets you will do good enough in the first leg to put us out.

Will be an interesting one, VVD, Lovren, Gomez out for the first leg. Probably even Firmino so we'll probably play Fabinho at CB and Sahq at CM with Salah upfront.

Nah we are really, really godawful, we are trash basically, Kovac is a horrible, horrible coach, and by now the body memory of the team, of times before this scrub came in to bring down the level, only lasts for dominant and strong spells of 20 minutes.

Look what happened to the United game against PSG's B team.

I think experience and big game pedigree matters too. No Van Dijk means Pool will have it even more tougher tonight.

PSG are still an elite team though. Bayern can't even top a league that's in a worse state than even Mehrie A and struggle consistently against scrubs. I hope they channel the old Bayern but the smart money's on them being put to the sword.
