Rangers hadn't beaten Celtic since 2012 (a couple of those years were spent in the lower divisions, tbf), so it's some achievement.

Celtic easily have the best squad in Scotland, but it seems like they've peaked after their complete domination and haven't got much else to give. It's the best chance for Rangers to win the SPL this year.

Meanwhile, it seems like Rodgers is slipping into his bad habit of tinkering and trying strange things when his side isn't performing. Makes you wonder how much he's learned in Scotland.

I think what he has done for Rangers is absolutely incredible but this is too early. Don't want another Lampard issue. I would wait atleast one more job if not more before he comes to Liverpool.

There are various such stats which point to the fact, what a remarkable job he has done at Rangers. Unfortunately this might not be enough to take the Liverpool job yet. Under Klopp Liverpool has set a high bar and everyone will be at him if his team does not perform on the pitch. I hope he stays at Rangers for one more year, get some more experience managing them in Europa league, switch to a CL playing club after that, prove himself there and then we will see if he is suited to take over Liverpool as a manager.
