Re: UEFA Nations league
Final 6-0,
I give top marks to Asensio, Rodrigo, Isco, Saul, Busquets, Ramos, Carvajal and DeGea.
Good marks (just a notch lower) to Ceballos, Nacho, Thiago, Azipilicueta, Rodri and average mark to Gaya.
MoM - Asensio.

my post was before the 3rd assist. are they counting that shot which turned into a goal as an assist? without it, it's 3 assists.

We've officially accepted Harmonica assist as the GL standard. That makes it 4.

Re: UEFA Nations league
Thank goodness the nations league is back and we can finally get the answer to that age old question, Can the Faroe Islands beat Azerbaijan at home.
I suppose, I should be excited about this round of matches. Lots of exciting things happening, not the least being, Sebastian Giovinco was picked by the Italian National team, this will make the people of TFC extremely proud.
Germany play two "real " games against their fiercest rivals, Czechs play against Slovaks, that might be a bigger deal in the ice hockey world? Croatia v England re match and of course Austria v N Ireland to play for the second place title in group B3.
Yesterdays results:
Polen - Portugal 2:3 (1:2)
Portugal winning without the Analrapist and yes, the Polish man of the hour did score.
Israel - Schottland 2:1 (0:1)
Litauen - Rumänien 1:2 (0:1)
Montenegro - Serbien 0:2 (0:1)
Kosovo - Malta 3:1 (1:0)
Färöer - Aserbaidschan 0:3 (0:1)
Huh, so I guess the age old question has finally been answered. Now if only I could get the answer to can San Marino win away at Moldova.
Russland - Schweden 0:0 (0:0)
Today's games
Belgien - Schweiz
Kroatien - England
Österreich - Nordirland
Yeah! This is what the nations League is all about!
You would never get to see these kind of matches before!
Estland - Finnland
Griechenland - Ungarn
Moldawien - San Marino
Weißrussland - Luxemburg

Re: UEFA Nations league
The way it is going, Austria will be playing for second place in group C3 next year. 0-0 at the half and the scoreline is a true reflection of this game. Austria marginally better, but Arnie and Burgstaller have done nothing up front, Actually Guido flubbed a good chance, but wont be surprised if this ends 0-0.
Was watching a bit of the Croatia v England match, just found it eerily creepy in the empty stadium.
Belgien - Schweiz -:- (0:0)
Kroatien - England -:- (0:0)
Österreich - Nordirland -:- (0:0)
Estland - Finnland -:- (0:0)
Griechenland - Ungarn -:- (0:0)
Moldawien - San Marino -:- (1:0)

Re: UEFA Nations league
If you ask Faroe Islanders/Azeris they enjoy these games more than getting smashed every game.
It certainly was for the Kosovars who went to the game against Malta. Beautiful atmosphere in the new national stadium and a historic win for Kosovo.

Re: UEFA Nations league
In the end Arnie gets the 3 points for Austria. The second half started better than the first half, for bout 10 minutes and then it went back to being the shitfest it was in the first half.
In the Croatia v Engalnd game, everyone was afraid to score in the creepy, eerily quite stadium of death. If their is a purgatory for football players this might be it, playing in deathly quiet non stop, eternally and never ever scoring any goals. Just a non stop game, with no goals an no noise, that never ends.
Belgien - Schweiz 2:1 (0:0)
Lukaku scored twice and the press are already stating things like he only scores for Belgium due to the eerily deathly haunted negative presence of a manager like creature on the sidelines at Old trafford.
Kroatien - England 0:0 (0:0)
Österreich - Nordirland 1:0 (0:0)
Estland - Finnland 0:1 (0:0)
Griechenland - Ungarn 1:0 (0:0)
Moldawien - San Marino 2:0 (1:0)
Weißrussland - Luxemburg 1:0 (1:0)
Things will get better today
Slowakei - Tschechien -:- (0:1)
Norwegen - Slowenien
Lettland - Kasachstan
Georgien - Andorra
Armenien - Gibraltar
Niederlande - Deutschland
I guess this is the mtch of the day, except that both teams kinda suck now.
Irland - Dänemark
Bulgarien - Zypern
Mazedonien - Liechtenstein

Re: UEFA Nations league
Müller was the best German player ffs
why don't you direct your indignation towards zeros like Werner, Draxler, Kroos, or 2nd division player Hector
And if anyone is done, clearly it is Löw

Muller and Boateng should retire from the NT.
Imagine if United bought Boateng for big cash, would be extra free comedy.
