Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group F

That's my point, considering their league form, the way they are so easily beating City is hilarious.
Nothing you can do about uber athlete like Ndombele when he is on his day, he will just run down your throat repeatedly

Yeah I mean it's shocking. They couldn't beat Caen most recently and Caen was down to 10 men for a long time... i think they even beat them when down to 10 men.
I was expecting a complete Lyon meltdown.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group F
I can't say for the match today as I'm streaming Madrid and not feeling to distract myself from the cancer but from what I saw, I actually like Ndombele, plays like a proper DM but with some nice skill on the ball. Maybe I'm judging him wrongly but sometimes he can do Casemiro like things and think he is a AM but, other than that, I like him. Definitely an EPL signing.
Gots no thoughts on Mendy really, standard black French full back that does French full back things.

City have one back through Bernardo Silva. I suspect they'll equalise before too long.

Legit surprised City couldn't beat a team that couldn't beat a 9 man Caen but say what, well done Lyon.

lmao can't believe City actually lost at home to Lyon
It's hilarious how all day the Brexit talking points were how PSG couldn't deal with Liverpool as they never face such good opponents in the French League, and then this

From what I seen that Ndombele guy is a tank, completely dominated the game. He also has really nice passes, he made like 2 or 3 defence splitting passes that lead to big chances for Lyon in the City game. Seems like a complete midfielder.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group F
Laporte is playing like shit. City's defence looks shaky, today they remind me of Liverpool's defence before Van Dijk, they don't seem to deal with pressure well. City looks very average at the moment, they don't seem to have that spark they had last season.
But then again, it doesn't have to mean anything, it could just be a Guardiola away game, or they are feeling De Bruyne's absence.

David Silva was a shark on that play. Taking advantage of the young inexperienced CB. Savage.

That was a bad way for Hoffenheim to lose though, they were so close.

Lyon is really a nonsense-team (excuse me Farfan). They win great matches and then they bottle stupid games.
I remember it even in EL.

absolutely incredible how Lyon didn't win this
good match to watch as a neutral
Ndombele and Aouar
Kramaric should earn himself a big move too
