He played as CF in the first game, he flopped. then with Mandzukic in the last 2 games, still sucked

When Mandzukic is your go to option there's a problem.

Not if he keeps banging them in to be honest, attacking isn't going to be an issue for this group.
It's the most talented attack in @rincon remembers, maybe the team immediately preceding Calciopoli that included Del Piero, Trezeguet, Ibrahimovic, and supported by the likes of Nedved/Camoranesi

Anyway why do Real Madrid fans forget it ?.
CR7 always begins slowly
- 15/16: 5 goals in first 7 matches, and all 5 on a single match
- 16/17: 1 gol in first 4 matches
- 17/18: 1 gol in first 6 matches , 0 in first 3
- 18/19: 0 in first 3

And each time, most people were like "Ronaldo is past it". It's basically tradition at this point.

Ronaldo had 4 La Liga goals come January last year actually. It's been slower and slower for the past 3 seasons.

CR also needs goals to get his own self validation. He is a man who has lived by talking about his numbers all his career. For example, look at his sister comparing CR's goal tally to Modric's to criticize his euro trophy.
Winning is not enough, he needs goals to demonstrate that he is great. Just look at how upset he was not scoring in CL final last year.
What is interesting to watch is him accepting he is not the same player he used to be. He hasnt done that yet.

Dont care about his goals my problem with him is that he cant play football. Neymar can and many times i admitted that he played better than Messi. so when i see a true great football player i acknowledge it no matter if i'm messi fanboy or not
Feel sad for Benzema and Bale for wasting their best years and being a slave to this overrated Perez barbie
As someone said if Ramos let Benzema take penalties he would have 7 goals in 3 games. Same with Bale. that is 2 goals per game and reaching 50 goals would be nothing special
R.Madrid and Perez team made CR look like best in the world. In reality he was never top 3 in the world.
I wish Perez chooses his target again and make one of Bale or Modric best in the world to show classless CR and his classless agent why they are so rich and famous and why his client gets called one of the best in history despite struggling to make a simple pass

Re: Kommander watch | Juventus Edition
Agreed with Nick's last post. Last week he was mad when Mandzukic scored (deflected his own shot would you believe), and this will repeat this season.
The guy doesn't give a single fck about Juve, he just want to enhance his legacy here because our CL record is well known and winning a CL for Juve will look great at the bottom of his biography.
As long as this selfishness doesn't not downgrade our overall play, fair enough. So far it hasn't, if anything he got a positive impact, Ronaldo's presence give a mental boost to his teammates.
Cuadrado, Douglas and co evidently try to make him score without exaggerating. Ronaldo benefits a lot from it, but he took poor shots that are not threatening... got only himself to blame. EVERYONE knows CR7 is capable of great things, let's judge him in Champions League knock out because this is when he becomes important.

No one is going to "just judge him in CHampions League knockous" lol, this is never happening. We are going to judge him week to week because a declining CR is a storyline that the medias have yet to push. It's way too Juicy.
We have not lived through medias worldwide talking about the end of Cristiano Ronaldo for weeks. Old players being interviewed about it every day.
And this will be made worse by Messi continuing to perform with Barca and scoring goals like he is drinking water. I had said this before but this obession CR has to play until a late age is equally fueled by the fact that Messi is younger than him, and CR knows that if he stops, when Messi is still on top, the narrative will clearly install Messi as the best ever, something CR is fighting for.
It's like Federer extending his career and trying to outlast Nadal, adding Grand Slam titles every year. Just look at how mad he was at not winning Uefa player of the year, just imagine if he loses the Ballon dor. it's gonna drive him nuts

When is Ballon d'or again, december ? Just in time
I hope he doesn't win it, until the rest of the season he'll be pissed and Juve will benefit from his eager to win.

Except that he is 33 and he is just going to struggle more and more to perform at the same levels he did in Madrid. The longer the season goes, the more apparent it's gonna be. years 3 & 4 of his deal at Juventus will be painful to watch

It's been like a couple of months since CR left and Madrid fans have turned into their own versions of Harmonica. Unreal combination of bitterness + obsession. You really wouldn't think this is the same team's fans that won 3 CL's in a row are smashing their best player in their history to pieces like he never even existed.
It's like Harmonica doesn't even need to put any effort to push his Fakenaldo agenda, now that he has Madrid fans/numpties by his side. Is this what he desired all along ? I bet he was anticipating this swerve.

Have you been hiding under a rock for the pat 10 years? have you ever seen me be a CR fanboy and throw logic out of the window when talking about him?
You are a fool if you think all the madrid fans on this forum are single minded and are all CR fanboys, really laughable take. You signed an aging superstar on the tail end of his career. What did you think the narrative was going to be? that we would just ignore everything he does until we see whether or not you win the CL? loool

They have to justify Ronaldo's sale in any way they can. So far we've seen some gems, and it's only September 2:
-Cristiano is the reason Marchisio left
-Cristiano is the reason Dybala was benched against Lazio & Parma
-Cristiano is declining as he ages (what a revelation)
It must be tough to watch though, a fanbase actually wanting Ronaldo to succeed wholeheartedly instead of different factions of numpties for and against a truly great player

Sugars is just trying to change the narrative that Ronaldo is 0 from 23 shots after 3 games. Also, who the f said the 1st 2 things there @Luca? That seems ridiculous even by GL ridiculous (and awesome) standards.

There is nothing to justify imo, he won 4 Champions league in Madrid and he left. Those trophies are secured in Madrid, and it's written in the history books of footy.
YOU have to justify spending 117 mil on a 33 years old, and paying 60 millions for him every season. It's no wonder you are here defending the line that his crap performances dont matter, and it's all about winning the CL. This is fiction in your mind that you are waiting to see happen, and when you dont win that CL, you will lose your mind lol

Re: Kommander watch | Juventus Edition
Hans & Nick, respectively
Factually, you're spot on @Doc, we cannot mask the fact that he was scoreless in his first three matches. In the first two matches he was quite good though, against Parma he was poor, the worst of the lot in terms of his performance. He's clearly lacking sharpness which a lot of players do at the start of seasons, and Juventus, itself is not immune to this. We routinely have poor performances and drop points at the start of seasons over the last several years, so I'm just happy we've been winning matches because we've been put in some tough spots already in these few matches.
As for Ronaldo, he's going to be judged on goals, simple as, Higuain's 32 goals in all competitions is the highest tally we've had in recent history which isn't out of reach for Ronaldo by any means but personally, I'm less into the numbers because they don't always tell the whole story

It's more like you're here just jabbing at us hoping that we turn on Ronaldo, as if it'll happen. Our fans applauded him when he scored against us in Torino just last season.
As for Juventus not winning the Champions League, check our history brother, no club is more adept at NOT winning the Champions League than us, so in your face.
What's to justify? The transfer is done and dusted, it can only be judged on its whole, not on three games like the conclusions you are so desperate to draw ~ Dybala benched, first victim etc.

Juventus doesn't need to justify anything
Paying that sum of money is not just for sporting but for commercial reasons. We need to take that next step commercially , what better than bringing in the biggest player brand in the world.
Clubs like Real Madrid or Man United don't need this kind of investment because they're among the biggest brands in football but teams like Juventus and a league like Serie A does. I don't care about the money spent because I'm sure we're going to benefit financially from this move one way or another.

I said that CR is going to be judged on a week to week basis. That's how it's been in Madrid the past 8 years. Whenever Messi scores, CR has to respond. With his age, if he doesnt score, the narrative is going to be that he is getting old. the first 3 games wont matter in 5 months, his goal tally will.
The fact that you lots are out here having to post to defend CR validates my point
As for Dybala, when all summer Italian medias sell you the Dybala + CR combo, when he starts the first game, plays shit, and is bench the next 2, of course it's a narrative to talk about lmao.
