Took me until club logos became a thing on here for anyone to think Mole was anything other than a Barca fan. He’s always been more a Barca than Newcastle fan. He just wanted to seem cool by “supporting” a shit team

Mole right now
though tbh this is likely what he had in mind when he made the thread
bringing together the fractured Madrid fanbase just before the season starts
unreal stuff, the hero GL needs

Mole's version of La Decision
Finally coming out of the closet
All it took was calling Messi a quitter
Well done Nick

I couldn't care less lol, it's just something I noticed.
Must be sad for Nick to consider winning is all that matters and nobody cares about said winning!

Re: Why are most of Real Madrid's CLs not memorable?
I have to agree, after the first CL they won in this trot and the one LFC lost, i literally couldn't place anything that happened in those finals. I think it's because they've won so much that we forget, rather remembering each game as a classic we remember 'okay 4 times amazing' and just forget.

Re: Why are most of Real Madrid's CLs not memorable?
Agree with Freeza, the only one that wasn't really memorable was the 2016 win and I wanna say the 98 win too but that maybe stretching. The rest were quite memorable. Raul running 60 yards to score, Zidane's volley, Ramos equaliser, Ronaldo's brace and Bale's wonder goal. Pretty memorable stuff.

Re: Why are most of Real Madrid's CLs not memorable?
Ramos' header at the last second.
Zidane winning his first CL as a manager and bringing us back from the brink of disaster.
Repeating as CL champions - First time in the modern era - while dominating favored Juventus. CR breaking CL goalscoring record while scoring 7 or something like that in the semis and final.
Bale crazy goal. CR bicycle kick. 3rd in a row.
opposing fans just don't want to remember lol. Convenient denial.

Re: Why are most of Real Madrid's CLs not memorable?
Madrid fans saying it was memorable, of course it was for you ffs.
You don't count because you support the damn team, i'm talking about for everyone one else.
As i said in the OP even Bayern's CL was more memorable than La Decima to most neutrals. Nobody even talks about your CL's lol but Bayern and Barca's consistently get brought up.
BTW those who say it's because you win all the time? please explain how you're only truly memorable win came two years after a previous CL
Like i said the only one neutrals truly remember is the Zidane one against Leverkusen.

Re: Why are most of Real Madrid's CLs not memorable?
I'd say they're pretty memorable for Madrid fans and neutrals ( like myself)
The dramatic Ramos equalizer, the outrageous Bale goal, the way Ronaldo stole the show vs Juve etc... were all memorable moments.
If I had to witness a team that I hated win 4 CLs in 5 years, I'd want to forget to.

Bayern's CL was more memorable according to whom? Seriously, what exactly are you basing this on? I don't mind the discussion but you're not really giving much other than what seems like your personal point of view and not a general consensus.

Re: Why are most of Real Madrid's CLs not memorable?
I love these comments about what's memorable or not, specially when it's made from one's tainted glass window.
I have been part of these boards for a long time, since the old old goal forum whne Madrid was shit. And I sure remember how enjoyable it was for people here to mock us when barca was beating us, when we were losing to Lyon in CL etc.. it just so happens that things have turned and we are now winning, dominating Europe, merking fan favorites teams in Europe year after year. This is the mentality that elected Guardiola as CL winner in the past 5 years in october and then all you hear is crickets in March when his fraudulent ass gets exposed.
Why should I take your view of what Madrid have achieved seriously? When I spoke to a few friends here at work about how nervous I was of this transition, they will like shut up you won 3 CLs fck outta here with your worry... Lol
Perspective, but no somehow the opinion of a few barca fans is what we should take as fact

Mole's brain is spaghetti after watching newcastle get piled on like Mia Khalifa for years, move on folks.
Troll may have trolled a near defunct forum today, but Madrid will troll the football world forever. You can sleep well my friends.

Re: Why are most of Real Madrid's CLs not memorable?
There haven't been memorable teams for a few years now, the last team I consider truly memorable was Heynckes' Bayern in 2013. Pep's Barca before that. This 3 CL run of Madrid's, I don't find the team exactly memorable, just ruthlessly efficient (in the CL).

That's funny considering our 16/17 team was better than Heynckes' Bayern

U must be suffering from brain farts
When your mind develops maybe you will recall that achieving something like Madrid did is very hard.

Yet we won... and beat Bayern on a two game tie in the quarters. You can't lose to a team over 2 games... and 6-3 in aggregate to boot... and pretend like you were better. It's not possible.

I am bemused by this. Pep's Barca okay, but who the hell talks about Heynckes Bayern more than Zidane winning 3 in a row or the Decima?
Strange thread. Not memorable according to who exactly?Where is this elusive everyone?
