Your Club winning Treble vs. Your Country winning WC

Never felt patriotic for my country and never rooted for them also. I'm not even sure if it'll be that big of a celebration in the US, especially if the game is on a Sunday. Everybody would just go to work the next day and move on with their lives. Americans would support just so they can chant USA and every other country is inferior to us when they cant beat us at a sport we dont give af about. Outside of that, I dont see insane celebrations going on like other countries across the globe

Yet I think it is not just a personal thing , I feel most ppl would say this in Italy , we are a country based on local rivalries

It's depends on the people. Anyone in my extended family (Campania, Lazio, Liguria) would choose the world cup over any treble. No questions asked.

I have had both (Real Madrid and España) and throughly enjoyed both. Too hard to say which is better (for me), but overall the celebrations are greater for country as it’s entire country celebrating while with club team, it’s only half of country.

Yes , in fact it was a supposition. At the end you can feel local rivalries for the whole day but   everyone supports Italy in that summer month , even who doesn't care about football. Nothing joins the people as it. It is everywhere.
I've said it could be a personal thing because club /NT are not passion comparable for me not even close .
Italy to not qualify for WC for a disappointment, but believe me if I say it is not into top five sport  disappointments. it means I had a life full of disappointiments? Yes. too

Yes. WC 06 is by a long long distance the best sports moment in my life. Even a great moment in my life outside of sport too. More for me than a Juve treble, as much as that would be amazing.

Not making WC this year is the top disappointment in sports too for me. To add, a great thing about Venezuela being bad at football is to not get overly disappointed every WCQ when we fail. Would be an incredible thing to win it though.

The World Cup allows you to celebrate for 4 years, a treble only for 1. Do the math.

Boring. I had both. In consecutive years as well.

My club always wins treble. So of course world cup comes first now. even it was 0-0 one world cup>one terble. 2 treble=1 world cup. 3 treble>1 world cup. because it would happen every year so i would get orgasm more instead waiting 4 years and it fades in 2 months. so my opinion is 2 treble, 2 is too much actually. 1.5 treble is equal to one world cup

Most unexpeted result ever for me.....

New Zealand winning the world cup would be an incredible moment, I'd take that any day.

But I think this question depends on which team is worse. If I was Spanish and supported Eiber, I'd probably want the Treble.
