Re: Will CR7 join?
Just a huge masquerade that serves a certain purpose for everyone involved... Ronaldo, Real, Mendes, Juve
Probably a way for Juve to show the world its AMBIZIONIS. So medias talk about Juve during summer or whyever else, i don't believe it. We end up landing the Sergeant instead for 80+Sturaro...

Re: Will CR7 join?
I agree with Warrior. This transfer is not typical for us. We only spent big if we sold big (Pogba Higgy case).
Right now seems like just a media thing where all the sides except Real are "winning" attention.Probably a way for Ronaldo to get his last big contract with Real before moving to China or MLS.
If it happens will surely increase our brand value and marketing.

Re: Will CR7 join?
Just to clear the air a bit.
Ronaldo likely is on his way out of Madrid. Club is upset at him for his childish display after CL win and recognize he is definitely in decline. They have decided they will not meet his latest salary demand and for now have dropped the promised increase last August. But they still maintain a one billion euro exit price.
Ronaldo on the other hand, doesn’t feel he is on the decline and feels he should be paid as much or more than Neymar and Messi. He also is upset the club didn’t support him in his tax evasion case, something that Barca did with Messi. The fact that he, Messi and Barca are all guilty of tax evasion doesn’t seem important to him!!
So bottom line he is available to any club that is willing to pay him a salary of 30M+ and pay an exit fee to Madrid near the amount Neymar cost (200M+).
I don’t believe any club outside of a couple in EPL and PSG can afford him!

Re: Will CR7 join?
It's happening.
Apparently his release clause is $100 million for Italian teams.

Re: Will CR7 join?
It's not happening.
His release clause is 1 billion Euros, there is a supposed "100 million gentlemen's agreement" between Mendes and Real Madrid, which doesn't mean much.
Real Madrid will not sell him unless they have a Neymar/M'bappe/Hazard lined up to take his place. This is the Galacticos were talking about.
They are using us to improve his wages with Real Madrid

Re: Will CR7 join?
BetStars has the deal at 4/6...
And bookmakers BetStars have priced Ronaldo at 4/6 odds-on to make the move to Italy.
BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: “Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to shock the football world and join Italian champions Juventus, with the Portuguese forward now odds-on at 4/6 to make Turin his next home. After his early exit from the World Cup, it appears the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is after a new challenge in Serie A. Juve’s odds of signing Ronaldo have been slashed, having been as long as 10/1 earlier in the week.
“Former club Manchester United are also in the running for Ronaldo but they are way down the pecking order at 10/1, followed closely by PSG who are priced at 12/1.
“Ronaldo could be swayed to follow in the footsteps of his old teammate, Wayne Rooney, and head for the US. Ronaldo to join any MLS club is priced at 16/1. Chelsea and Man City round up the betting at 20/1 and 33/1 respectively.”

Re: Will CR7 join?
Moggi: 'Ronaldo already signed for Juve'
By Football Italia staff
Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi believes Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo “already signed and had his medical in Munich.”
The rumours of a €100m swoop for the Ballon d’Or winner just keep getting stronger and current Juve director Beppe Marotta did nothing to calm them with his response of “no comment.”
Yesterday Moggi doubted the stories, but today he seems to have changed his tune.
He spoke on 7Gold television about the subject, questioning whether it was necessary to spend that much on a 33-year-old player.
However, Moggi then took to Twitter this evening and wrote: “In my view, he has already signed and had the medical in Munich.”
