Perez was offering 25+5 while Juve offered 30, not much of a diffetence. If you think this is solely a money issue, then you're delusional. Exactly , the tax issue was the major problem. You told him to eff off when he expected the Messi treatment. But the wages ? You were almost matching the wage offer anyway.  It was reported by multiple sources.

Obviously money is the primary reason , he's a brand/commodity afterall but there are multiple other factors that contributed to his departure as well.

Besides you only need to pay 100K in taxes for earnings outside Italy ( a recent rule) so I guess he saw us as an ideal destination in that regard.

His wages were not an issue because it's Real Madrid, now they are an issue because it's Juventus and used as a point of criticism when you know damn well, no one cares what he earns at Juventus, you don't care what Pjanic earns, you don't care what Dybala earns, you didn't care what Buffon earned, you only care if it has the opportunity to further your own position.

If we bought him for whatever ridiculous sum, we could not land Ronaldo. I repeat, it was a ridiculous idea to ask 100+, it killed the interest of every contender and it killed the player's confidence. He is surrounded by duds.

But now, it's the proper time to achieve this transfer. Sorry for abusing last year, BUT, until summer 2018 his progression had been consistent, he was ready for a big club.

My eyes don't lie. I've seen fifty games of him if not more, he is a good player overall but mostly a great creator, talent is definitely there. At Juve there is no reason why he would be a flop.
