LFC Season 2018/2019

We have to secure our top 3 of the season asap by winning whichever games possible. It will help us to concentrate on our CL, taking us as deep as possible.

Tbh Lovren in a right defensive system and with confidence is another player. Why would you still remember his mistakes 2-3 years ago when he was exposed without proper midfield cover, had to play with Moreno on his side and Mignolet in defence and we generally didn't know how to defend as a team then, and when the fans shit on him he clearly lost his confidence. Yes he was in terrible form then but people back then scapegoat only him when we were defending on an amateur level as a team

Last season was the first season Klopp actually set up a proper defence and we defended as a team.

Only bad game Lovren had last season was at the beginning vs Tottenham away, and after that game we started to defend as a team and statistically had the best defence in the league. Find me another bad game or mistake made by Lovren last season? Lovren had a great season and you can't change my mind tbh, he played both CL and WC final this year and was great in both runs in those tournaments.

He had so much confidence last season and played like a totally different playa , if he continues in to play in that form I will still rate him

I also rate Gomez higher btw, but I just think Lovren is good competition for him at CB

I guess its obvious on my thoughts on Gomez

I still believe Lovren is the second best CB in the team over Matip. Lovren is shit but he's what we've got plus he's a warrior who gives 0 shits, we need that.

It's funny though, Nish hates Gomez, Helmer hates Lovren and I love everyone , I'm just here to balance things out tbh

I agree with Nish, that he is the only warrior kind of personality probably in our team. Too too physical but not with matching brains. Klopp and his staff has improved him a lot. And Buster mate, making mistakes is not the only criteria to be judged as a defender. His overall play seems to be so clumsy to me, a bit better Skrtel to me.
