He changed the game for Roma

Brought a calming presence to their erratic midfield

Great debut performance by him

The right result considering that 1st half we had. Kluivert and Nzonzi should've started and this team is clearly not a 433 team. Amazing how much more stable we looked with a double pivot.

3-3 FT

What a game

Both could've won it in the end though. Impressive debut by N'Zonzi. He's going to slot into their midfield easy. Improved 2nd half performance by Manolas kept Zapata quiet. Atalanta will be ruing their missed chances though. They had so many of them lol.

Under and Kluivert on the wings looked exciting. There is some serious potential in this Roma side but they need some stability for the moment after having lost many key players. They should be a much improved side as the season progresses.

Agreed. EDF's team selection left a lot to be desired. He's desperate to make that 4-3-3 work, but we just don't have the players for it and this comes even after he spent a whole summer trying towards that.

Overrated because he was once good at saving PK's and has a big frame like Donnarumma for example(the other overrated fraud). He makes way more mistakes than De Gea does on an average. I'd have to agree with Robes. Both goals yesterday were directly as a result of his mistakes. I wont be surprised if Inter are on the market for a GK next summer. Not like he's young-ish(for a GK) either.

Oh dear, Tottenham put three past De Gea.  Loved that looping goal.  Maybe De Gea came out too far? Very Happy

And I have to listen to your nonsense when most professional pundits have it right. How can one go from the best to a fraud (according to your nonsense) in a few months.

"Samir Handanovic flawless in Inter's 0-0 draw with Juventus... He is surely the best goalkeeper in the league right now. Decisive on Mandzukic and on several other occasions. Good at clearances. Makes you want to buy an Inter goalkeeper's jersey. Haven't owned one since this beauty."

I expect bad season from Sampdoria ( disappointing mercato ) so I'd say noone of them

I predict 3 players to emerge this year :

Ali Adnan ( Atalanta)

Adnan is a thug.

Assuming Chiesa and Simeone already count as emerged, I say Milenkovic too (killing it for me in fantasy) and also Gerson from Fiore. I think he'll finally become an actual player.

Barrow from Atalanta for sure.

Sassuolo is playing football again so probably something will come up from them. Magnani has noise.

Some of Roma's kids are bound to come good, probably Kluivert.

I think this season will see less players emerging than the last couple. Already a lot of players took the step and now I think will be the season to confirm some of them. Sergej, Chiesa, Under, Simeone, etc.

Adnan was average in Udinese but he is the typical player that developes under Gasperini imo

Oh yeah Rigoni he 's definitely good

TBF I said first 2-3 names that came to mind Laughing Except for Milenkovic, I rate this guy seriously

Ali Adnan sucks shit and he's a liability... highlight of his career was causing tension between Rincon and Luca last season (i don't remember for which reason, probably the former thought he was shit, while the latter thought he was crap)

If we are talking about Udinese players that will explode this year my choice is Jankto now at Samp Thumbs up

True that, but you also have to recognize the importance of Handanovic for Inter since his day 1. There was no better keeper Inter could afford at the time, and he have done a good job most of the time. Sometimes even considered the best in Italy when in form. What I truly hate about him is when it comes to long shots though. He barely moves and watches the ball hit the net like he was a fkng spectator. He should at least pretend and try. Laughing

It's great news for Serie A fans to see many talented youngsters in a league that is growing up. Looks like teams (especially mid-table like Fiore or Atalanta) are trusting young players more and even making good profits every year.
As for that Milenkovic guy he's got everything to become a great defender and Juve already got an option on him. Also Magnani is quite promising. Sassuolo also has very talented wingbacks in Rogerio and Lirola. They also have a very interesting player in Brignola.
Guys like Chiesa , Simeone , Pjaca , Caldara etc only need another step to confirm themselves as worthy and ready for bigger clubs.
Locatelli,Mandragora,Barella,Orsolini,Kean,Kluivert,Under,Pellegrini...the future seems bright for Serie A.

Personally I would choose Mandragora to have a great year and finally evolve to Mandrake.
