Also I have to ask whether Omar really saw Bird shooting Gant or he just made that whole thing up. If it's latter then my respect in the brother is going to increase ten fold. Have to say the guy must be sleeping with writers for getting such a an badass role in otherwise very much down to earth show.

Watched Band of Brothers again, and it's by far the best mini-series ever made, hasn't aged a bit either. Next up Pacific although wasn't into it that much when it was released and got only to half way.

So I finished all five seasons of The Wire last week and it was every bit of as good as I heard and read about it before starting. There are however some gripes nonetheless. Major one was the way String and Avon gave up each other, especially after everything they went through together. It would have made more sense had it happened over to DeAngelo's murder. There are more which I will surely post once I getbiut of the influence of alcohol.
My seasons rating are as follows,

Season1 9.5/10
Season 2 8.5/10
Season 3 9.0/10
Season 4 9.0/10
Season 5 9.5/10 ( loved the Baltimore Sun angle)

Also started watching watching The Bodyguard and gave up after two epis. I have watched porn that were less predictable than this garbage. Actually wanted to stop at first episode itself but the ass of Keeley Hawes kept me going.

Black Mirror's movie coming the 28th sounds nuts

Apparently it's choose your own adventure. Pretty interesting.

Finished watching Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Liked it a lot. The stand up comedy is actually funny. The lead is charming but flawed and interesting at the same time. In S2 most characters become well rounded. Can see more awards coming its way.

I think You (2018-) might have the most inspired and great casting ever in Penn Badgley as Joe. The commentary on Gossip Girl in that casting alone should earn some god damn awards.

The show is great trashy fun overall. At episode 6/10 right now and I really enjoy it.

I heard about this on on Reddit. Will give it a go.

Deadly Class on SyFy had a solid premiere. This feels almost "Into the Badlands" level, but it is produced by the Russo brothers so I'm looking for higher quality. The pilot was solid, but nothing more than that. Some clear Harry Potter-vibes with the character and setting, sans the magical stuff.

It's a prerequisite to have some knowledge of his Gossip Girl character to find the meta-layer funny though. He's basically playing the same character, but as an actual psychopath Laughing

If you like really ridiculous airplane trash/camp, this is def a good watch though.

Watching "Nightflyers". Decent, well made Scifi so far, even if I fear the story will have few surprises or developments of interest after the main situation has become clear.

Lmao if I'm completely honest, probably 80% of the series I watch further than one episeode, I continue because of some attractive actress.

the nightflyers premise sounds like a bootleg event horizon edit: just read it's based on a story that predates event horizon though

Yeah it's basically the same, that's why I said, not original or surprising.

I like that kind of scifi though so I don't mind too much. But it's becoming a bit banana now.

Final season of A Series of Unfortunate Events is great. I've really enjoyed this show and am gonna miss it. They've stayed fairly true to the source material (from what I remember anyway, haven't read the books since I was in elementary school) and it's got all of Barry Sonnenfeld. Neil Patrick Harris has really made Count Olaf his own as a character. Easily one of my favorite TV villains of recent years imo.

Hey! Did anyone here watch Luther? How is it?

I watched the first two episodes and I am not sure if to continue or not. I like the actors playing in this series, I like crime and detective stuff, but somehow it seems a little bit too much for me. I mean, it's very unrealistic and exaggerated in some ways but I don't want to go into details right now. Maybe it's just me. What do you think about it?

Also. I just want something great to watch and I still haven't seen last season of Ray Donovan and Westworld, but I am not in the mood to watch those now. Recommendations? How about these: Ozark, Stranger Things, Castle Rock?

Currently starting the third season of Dexter, i'll see where this leads, i think the writers dun goofed for the season 2 finale and the series premise shouldn't allow for so many seasons (apparently eight). If season 3 doesn't go well, i might just spoil the rest of the run for myself.

Season 3 and 4 are still great. 5 not that bad imo, though others might argue.
Started dipping from season 6 to the end, though I was such a huge fanboy I enjoyed seeing all of it out.
