Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
They'll probably be Germany based for the most part since that's where most of Mislintat's connections are. We'll keep looking in France as well since we're well established there.

Did we make a mistake in letting Szczesny leave so easily?

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Yes, we could have had that sorted at this moment and not leave ourselves looking for GK as well.
But then again, Szczesny was very error prone, so there was justification to getting tired of his mistakes and trying to move on from him, or at least get someone who is better in so that he can still grow. However we probably should have let Ospina go and not him, since he always had more potential than Ospina, but then again Szczesny probably wanted starts and wouldn't have wanted to play back up to Cech so that's why we didn't put up a bigger fight to keep him, I can only optimistically assume.

It's a bit funny that Szczesny improved and progressed quite a bit ever since leaving Arsenal. Both Roma and Juve helped him fulfill his potential better than we ever could.
Tells you how much of an issue we had with our GK coaching. Glad peyton is gone.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Thank you Santi.
One of our best and most technical players we got since the move to the Emirates.
I still maintain if he was fit for the second half of the 2015-16 he would have steered us to the league title.

We had at least two seasons of what could have been if he was fit. Such amazing player, a shame that maestro like him and Rosicky always injured and couldnt play more. He left as great player with lots of beautiful football moments.

Things may have been different if he was fit in the last 2 years.
Gave us a lot of great moments. Will always remember him fondly.

Do you all think there's any chance of an Emery reunion with N'Zonzi or Krychowiak? (Not that the latter's stock is as high as it was a couple years ago.)

Any idea how did Joel Campbell do this season?? He could fit into a 4-2-3-1 as a backup surely.

where is Fabinho moving to?
it seems None of City/Utd/PSG are after him
would be perfect for Emery

Only made 8 appearances, and had an injury for several months. He hasn't really lit up most places he's gone on loan.
More Seri murmurs, this one with the added news (or speculation) that Emery wanted to sign him for PSG this past season.

Arsenal in talks with Stephen Lichtsteiner about a free transfer:
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/may/25/arsenal-talks-stephan-lichtsteiner-juventus-unai-emery?CMP=share_btn_tw
34-years-old and past his best, but could be a solid back-up for Bellerin that won't cost us a great deal, either.
