Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Mirror | Emery is interested in N’zonzi & want to sign him, the player is keen to link up with his old boss again.
-AFC showed initial interest in N’zonzi in January, but Mislintat decided against taking it any further. Sven would prefer Abdoulaye Doucoure bu is understood to be ready to sanction a move for N’zonzi after holding talks with Unai.

#AFC are interested in @BenPavard28 but nothing is advanced as of yet. The player wants to concentrate on the world cup [via @Sky_MaxB]

Pavard would be a great signing on top of the experienced Sokratis, but I don't know if we are ready to pay a premium price because that is what it's going to take to get him.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Transfer Ban Needed
Arsenal interest in Fellaini is genuine and it sounds like he’s more likely to sign for them than he is to renew with MUFC or sign for AC Milan. Has already spoken with Emery, who wanted to sign him for PSG.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I'd be far less concerned about this if we knew a midfielder who can actually play football is on the way, but that's no guarantee, is it?
Between Fellaini, Lichtcsteiner and Sokratis, it's like we're trying to increase our shithouse quote rather than our football ability.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
At least Lichtsteiner and Sokratis have some good football abilities on top of being the bastards they are, Fellaini is just a bully, no skill in his bones.
What an awful signing, doesn’t fit as our starting DM or CM.
Why not sign Meyer if we want to go the cheaper route? I guess we want to sign “men”, nevermind their football abilities.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Are Lichtcsteiner and Sokratis really that bad?
I thought Lichtcsteiner would actually be a good back up for Bellerin (though those rumors have just dropped for a while)
I don't know much about Sokratis, but at this point Im too afraid to ask... Those Silvestre nightmares still haunt me.
I hope to God the Fellaini rumors is just the Arsenal backroom f**king around with us.

They are not bad at all, these two are very good signings. That young kid from PSG also looks excellent, it’s just Fellaini that is messing up our transfer window right now if it happens.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I'm mostly certain at this point that we're not signing Fellaini. He's been shopped around Europe looking for a fat new contract, so I wouldn't be remotely surprised if this was all agent talk.
It just makes no sense to sign him. You can get a tough player who can rough people up AND can actually play football well. Nor do I see any need to pay someone big wages just so we can lump the ball up to him in emergencies.
More importantly, it'd be a 30-year-old taking a spot in the squad in an area we desperately need quality.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Thinking about it, a lot this summer will depend on Ramsey's future.
If Ramsey stays, that's a good chunk out of the budget for his new salary and signing on fee.
If he leaves, we're going to have invest a fair bit to replace him.
Until that's sorted, I can't see any big moves happening.

Jeremy Wilson: #AFC are aware Fellaini is available but at the moment he is not a priority; club allocating big chunk of the budget for Aaron’s new deal ~£200kpw & early signs point to him staying.

Giving £200k/week to Ramsey seems insane to me, he‘s not that good.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
This was always likely when we lifted the wage ceiling to £350,000 p/w with Ozil's new deal. Ramsey's an important player in this team and will think he should be on at least what the likes of Lacazette, Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan are getting.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I would keep Ramsey. We are yet to see his best.
We are yet to see the best of a lot of people in the squad, to be honest. That's what is keeping me remotely interested in the proceedings.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
I wonder if it has anything to do with Gazidis telling him to keep the hand on lower range of players in terms of price.
After laca, auba, bumper wages to few I doubt we were ever going to spend 100m+ unless selling few.
Hopefully this season we manage to get back to CL and then go from there.

I mean he hasn't made a bad signing yet, you guys need to calm down tbh
Also Fellaini sounds like more Emery than Mislantat or however you spell it lol.
