Re: World Cup 2018 General Discussion
Sane and Reus on the wings would be different to most Germany teams in recent history, most of their midfield in recent memories have been technically accomplished and very skilled but not particularly fast.
Mind you Reus could be slow now for all I know

Kroos-Khedira is their starting midfield
Granted Khedira performs better for the NT but its waiting to be exposed IMO

All I know is they won 2 championships, 2 years ago with essentially 2 different teams and they didn’t win either because of named players. They are definitely a favourite.

Not bad except for that mediocre midfield, you mean.

And half of the defence too, not to mention Welbeck is as toothless as toothless gets.

Ox and MIilner would've been huge, its a shame. Also the attacked options seem...lackluster? Where's the wingers? Remember FIFA 11 England was full of LWs/RWs

No offence but when Milner and Ox are considered "huge" i think that says enough about how mediocre it is.

Re: World Cup 2018 General Discussion
In terms of depth, the only players we're really missing in attack/midfield are Lallana, who was only fit enough for the standby list, and Chamberlain. Apart from him, there are no other attackers worth selecting who aren't kids.
For strikers you've got Glenn Muarry, Callum Wilson, Jermain Defoe, Jay Rodriguez and Dominic Solanke.
On the wings the closest options I can think of are Nathan Redmond (who has been pants this season) and a washed-up Theo Walcott.
Sancho, Lookman and Sessegnon will be internationals soon, but it's way too early for a World Cup embarrassment.

Compared to the other NT? Germany won a WC with Kramer in midfield, Portugal won Euros with Carvalho, Mario and someone. You're overestimating other teams

Albrighton, Lennon, Townsend?
But yeah, those are some dire options
If i were coach i'd employ a 4-3-1-2 with Rashford/Welbeck partnering Kane, Alli behind, Ox, Hendo, Dier midfield

Who is Pavard?
Surprised to see Rami still there. And no Laporte too.

One of the best CBs in bundi this season (arguably the best) and plays RB too.
Rami is there because Kos is injured... and he's a very funny and relaxed guy. Helps the locker room. Varane, Umtiti, Kimpembe and Pavard would play before him. Basically like the 3rd keeper.
Rabiot and Lacazette were the big losers here.
