Of course there is for american sports.
That answer makes me really doubt this next part
Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:I bet if I asked you some questions about American sports your answers would be every bit as stupid.
but that is besides point. Its pretty funny to name any of those 4 as a response to the question.

Re: World Cup 2018 General Discussion
Gay couples seen kissing in public by Russian Cossacks during the World Cup will be reported to police, it is being claimed.
The tournament begins in 11 cities across the country next week.
Rostov-on-Don, a southern city, will reportedly have 300 Cossack vigilantes on patrol to help the police keep the streets safe, including 100 on horseback.
The city will host four group matches and one final 16 game, although the England team will not be playing any of their games there.
"If two men are kissing each other at the World Cup, we will tip off the police, drawing their attention to it and the rest is a police matter," Oleg Barannikov, a head coordinator of the Cossack volunteers told Radio Free Europe affiliate Current Time.
"To us, values mean the (Christian) Orthodox faith and the family come first."
it says nothing about what will happen if they see 2 hot chicks getting it on though.

Re: World Cup 2018 General Discussion
I've recently learnt that the largest mosque in Europe is actually in Moscow.
Will the Saudi team have their Iftar and final pray of Ramadan there before the opening match?
Speaking of mosques and religion, I did some research and found this is one of the most interesting mosques in Kazan, called Qulsarif:
Also this site, a short ride away from Kazan city center called "Temple of All Religions"
Gonna visit in person on Tuesday

Russia has quite a history with Islam so not really surprised at those mosques.
Also no god, superpower, universe, artificial intelligence or alien tech will get Saudi a single point from this world cup. Easily the worst squad at the tournament.

Luckily they're in by far the worst group of the tournament. Can see them tying or even beating Russia.

Think Russia have few quality individuals who can win them the match. The likes of Golovin, Dzagoev, Dzyuba and Kokorin are at least good enough for Saudi.
Can't see them get a point against uruguay or Egypt either tbh

Honestly and naively, I actually thought buildings like those would be universally appreciated for its architectural beauty. Even by Unique.

The pictures are too crisp to be real, Same goes for the previous pics posted by zagadlaka. Some explanation needed.
That said even in India, Our greatest monument is the Taj Mahal which is Islamic architecture, They just have an eye for beauty.

Having just watched the Russian-language Catherine the Great biopic, the Imperial Palace (Peterhof, I think it was called) in St. Petersburg looks breathtaking.

World Cup songs peaked in 1990. After that it's all downhill.
