It's not different, because that's when the manager is reviewing what he has on hands, what works and what does not work for him, the way he wants to play, players personalities. I dont have any insight into the Beldium squad but Martinez has never liked Nainggolan that much, and it showed in how often he relied on him during the qualifiers.

and what is failure for Belgium? not winning?

I think going to the quarter finals is their expectation, semi finals their ceiling, or at least taking out a big nation in 1v1 will make their campaign successful.

Belgian FA are facing huge backlash from the fans for dropping Nainggolan. So much so that the Belgian FA even had to release an official statement.

Even some Belgian players have come out said they're disappointed that Nainggolan wasn't included. Even Fellaini ffs , the guy whom Radja will be competing fkr a spot for.

But hey it doesn't matter though....

Martinez is a massive melt. There's no other way to put it.

I'll get a lot more hyped when it starts but I've said it before, England are the worst i've seen in my lifetime and I expect nothing from them. But it'll be nice to watch during the summer post-season, chilling with a cold one in the evenings. Just want to see some good football and a few surprises.

We need to get some community World Cup games going. Either a fantasy league, a prediction game or one of those games where you get randomly assigned a national team. With some sort of plebby forum prize to the winner, like a special snowflake title under their name IMO. That's been the kinda stuff I've seen on other forums in previous years. Just a little something to add an extra excitement factor. I always liked the one where you get randomly assigned a team and the prediction game the most.
