Re: World Cup (2018) - Group F (Germany, South Korea, Mexico, Sweden)
As I mentioned in chat... Mueller has turned into the German version of Benzema lol.

I have no idea what will happen on Brazil-Germany, both teams haven't showed their true collors so far becaus we have only faced park the bus teams.
As long as we don't get trashed again I'm fine lol

His cycle is finished, quite clearly
Löw won't go. Even if he'd lose against South Korea he'd stay.
The German Arsene Wenger (:

Kroos with absolute winners mentality there. Great stuff. Sad for Sweden, No way the keeper could have saved that.
Makes the group really interesting now.

Unlike Arsenal's board, Ze Germans are far too pragmatic to let sentiment get in the way when it comes to their national team. I think this is it for him one way or another.
Too many chinks in the armor for their liking probably.

Gündogan was amazingly bad though, that's another interesting thing. Last match day is gonna be the tits.

Germany is easily going to dispatch of S Korea. We need to beat Mexico by 2 goals. I think we can win but not by a 2 goal margin sadly.

J-Low has dropped Muller, brought in Goretzka, Draxler also not starting, Ozil and Khediera are back, Sule replaces Boateng. Interesting.

Goretzka/Rudy should have been a starter from day one. I think he finally figured it out. this is germany model 2014 with Kroos free and 3 forwards.
pray for Korea, they are going to get whooped

Özil and Khedira are completely useless and should not be played anymore.

Low left Sane at home so that a jobber like Goretzka would play winger?

Because Löw is stuck in 2009 and thinks 4-2-3-1 is the only formation that exists

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group F (Germany, South Korea, Mexico, Sweden)
i remember him playing 3 at the back, 3 man midfield, etc... basically, whatever Pep was trying at Bayern he would try with Germany.Hapless_Hans wrote:Mr Nick09 wrote:i dont understand why Goretzka is playing false winger., i thought Germany had figured it out but no smh

Pretty much this, yes.
But 4-2-3-1 is the formation of Heynckes-Bayern so that's the formation Löw defaults to.
Next season, he'll probably start to mimic Kovac's 3-5-2 .
Season after next season, that is, Löw needs a year to process what's happening at Bayern.

He doesn't. And he wouldn't have performed in this setup either.
