that feels when you're 22 and don't have a tv to watch the games from yet cause you just moved out

No attacking outlet for Brazil, Relying on indivivual brilliance. Need Firmino badly.

After a great start Brazil have fallen off abit. Brahimi has controlled Neymar brilliantly. Brazil should count their lucky stars they have Casemiro, he has covered for everyone out there

Brazil look very solid to me. Keeping Switzerland at arm's length pretty easily.
I think Switzerland might have one of the weakest attacks at the tournament, though. Good at keeping the ball, but that's about it.

Brazil stopped with the pressure after the first goal, they are conserving energy and letting Swiss have the ball while waiting to catch them on the counter, also they seem to be targeting the Lichsteiner side, might see him get another yellow if they continue attacks through the left

Dafuq is the coach doing. Taking out your best player. They need to take out Willian or Paulinho who have been terrible

What's with all the midfield subs. Don't they have any attackers on the bench

I've been impressed by Shaqiri during this half. Has worked a lot harder.

Strong, resolute performance by Switzerland
Also this has pretty much ensured Brazil won't get complacent going forward atleast as far as this group is concerned IMO

I have no idea why we stopped playing after our goal.
I also have no idea how that's not a foul.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
Me and whoscored in serious disagreements. They gave Neymar an 8.1 rating and to me, I thought he was terrible. Bar some decent passes and one or two dribbles, he honestly offered nothing as the match progressed from minute 1 to 90. Also, Switzerland didn't buckle after the Coutinho golaso and just sticked to their strategy, quite impressed by it.
Brasil would get better I think but this was just a sour game.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
I thought Brasil were all right, but too slow. Neymar, Coutinho and Marcelo are the most devastating trio on the left in the tournament, but they're always taking a couple of extra seconds on the ball. Also, when 90% of your attacks come from the same flank, it gets too predictable for the defence.
Firmino looked more dynamic with the midfield than Jesus, but he was also on when Brasil played with more urgency.
Anyway, Brasil need to play faster passes and make more runs in attack and they should be all right.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group E (Brazil, Serbia, Costa Rica, Switzerland)
Brazil's midfield is dire. That's the problem. There's no connection between defense and attack. So the forwards + Marcelo are left to create and score by themselves.
I'm not convinced that Silva-Miranda is that great a CB pairing either.
They have their problems that other teams can exploit. In the end, it will come down to whether they play as a team or it becomes the Neymar show. if it's the Neymar show, they're not winning it.
