I rarely watch a game so boring it could make one fall asleep before 5pm.

Agreed, Pogba will be lucky if he starts the season with top brexit lad Lingard taking his spot imo.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group C (Australia, Denmark, France, Peru)
Glad we are going home with our heads held high. Our main priority should be to keep Gareca and keep building the team. The majority of our players are very young and will be mainstays for the next 2 or 3 qualifiers.
It's a shame we couldnt score in the 2 previous games and I hope a lot of people realize just because you have big stars doesnt make you a great team. France and Denmark definitely deserve to go through for getting the results but it does feel we deserve to replace one of those 2. I think it came down to our inexperience on playing at a high level. We have that now
Paolo Farfan and Rodriguez will likely retire from the team after this, replacing Paolo will be the biggest task.
Still disappointed but we will be back with something to prove in the next one

Under a capable coach like Tuchel, or Kovac, Dembéle will be one of the best players in the world in no time.
Biggest talent in world football alongside Mbappé. Hope he leaves Barca asap.

Hans is blind to everything Dembele does, no need to waste your time.
it's fine to say that he needs better coaching, but we can all see his intrinsic qualities and it's nothing to sneeze at. Mbappe is a superior talent, his brain just works 5x faster

Valverde is quite capable and he had no issues in benching this young man who seems to lack that bit of football IQ coaches seem to like.

Leroy Sane is a bigger talent and Dembele compared to Mbappe is a peasant. You're insane if you believe what you're saying

Perhaps. Could easily be another night of teammates, coach, refs, ballboys etc letting Messi down

France has the best defense... we've only conceded 1 goal and that was on Umtiti's swan lake rendition as opposed to playing football.
On offense, we've scored 1 PK and 2 deflected goals Utter and complete waste of talent.
I'm fuming.

You were solid today. Defensively at least. Felt our best chance was in the start but Braithwaithe couldn’t hit the ball.
We’re in the same situation though. Only goal against us was a handball that was very iffy.
____
Did you hear our coach apparently didn’t tell the players about the result in Peru game.
Feels idiotic waiting with the last sub until 91st minute when a single goal will win you the group.
Guess he wanted to continue his unbeaten run and felt an offensive sub in 70-80 would be too risky. It’s currently at 17 I think.
Just wish he did it. The last 20 minutes were not a good way to represent football on the world stage.
