Seems there are disagreements between Sarri and ADL regarding their transfer policies and for months now , Napoli have been linked to different managers. Sarri even has hinted at a PL experience in his latest interview. Has an 8M release clause and apparently Chelsea want to pay it. Other clubs like Monaco have been heavily linked as well.

Nice, he should be a top priority for Arsenal too. Nice football, isn't afraid to play youth, has a decent record against big/rich clubs.

Would love to have him at Barca but I'm afraid Valverde's position is secure. Huge respect to coaches like Sarri. Whoever signs him up will be in for a treat

i don't think he will stay to Napoli
He did his utmost with this roster but it wasn't enough.
Hard to repeat another season as this.
Sources on him in Premier are atm garbabe (Mirror etc ) though

Can't believe a coach like Sarri, possibly Allegri, are available in summer and we get Niko Kovac.

Arsenal need someone with some fire in their belly like Sarri IMO. Would be the right move. I do think he might end up being a provinciale coach but it's worth a gamble - the alternatives out there are pretty much dinosaurs or Allegri.

No International experience to 60 years, he was coaching in Serie B just 3 years ago, his CL / EL campaigns with Napoli weren't good
Frankly he might be a great risk even if he seems an emergent coach but it is because he wasn't popular 3 years ago
I already liked him in Empoli though , I had even his avatar at that time

Meh all dat class, and they were the laughing stock of football every time they lost by 6-8 goals in the league and shipping 10 goals on aggregate in the CL.
Not that Sarri is anything special, but they could use a much more aggressive coach. Maybe then their midfielders will stop standing still watching the opposition and still get picked to play every week.

Sarri's grandfather was an anti-fascist partisan during the second world war. He saved numerous allied airmen and he recieved a medal from the U.S. for his efforts. His father was a worker and a member of the PCI (partito communista italiano). Sarri is also a leftist that could not vote for Renzi who is not leftist enough for him.
He is an unusual coach. A former lower division defender he started coaching at the lowest levels (Serie D and C) while working at Monte dei Paschi di Siena, the oldest bank in the world. He does speak enough English to have worked in foreign exchange trading.
Don't know how he would do outside of Italy. He could be a revelation with a club with enough money to give him 15 or so top class players, or he could be a bust. He has done pretty well with 7 or 8 decent players against 4 clubs with a lot more money than Napoli.

Sarri should remain in Italy, some decent jobs will be available soon enough. One of Milan or Inter, if not both, will sack their current manager within november 2018. I bet my shoes on it.
Or if he leaves for another country, a B- club is a safer career choice, but why bother to try then...

Against opponents that play another sort of football, and who are simply better players overall. Not to forget this: he never won major trophies and never worked under real pressure. Napoli is considered the Cinderella team of the season, barely any pressure there compared to Arsenal, Chelsea, let alone Barcelona as i've read sooner.

I understand why he is seen as provinciale because of his résumé and age. However Breva's post is true as football manager is Sarri's second career. Not even 15 years that he does it for a living, it was part-time job before in Serie D clubs.
What he "achieves" is amazing knowing that... but he isn't adequate to replace Wenger or Conte

Front page of Gazzetta reports that Chelsea may pay Sarri's €8m release clause. His staff is learning English.

Maurizio Sarri already agreed a deal with Chelsea three months ago, claims the owner of a restaurant frequented by Napoli.
There have been numerous reports linking the Coach with a move to Stamford Bridge and they intensified this morning.
According to Giuseppe Bruno, the owner of the Bobò restaurant in Naples, it’s a done deal.
“Sarri is certainly not going to stay, but I do get the sensation he signed for Chelsea three months ago,” the restauranteur told CalcioNapoli24 Live.
