Arsenal are interested in signing Anthony Martial, and have apparently wanted the Frenchman for a long time. But they also reveal that the Frenchman is interested in a move to Juventus.

The Gunners are, according to the Times, suspected of wanting the former Monaco man when they were negotiating the Alexis Sanchez deal, with Henrykh Mkhitaryan.

“It is understood that Martial was disappointed at not having the chance to discuss a move to Arsenal in January,” the Times write.

“When the London club raised the possibility of including the forward in the swap deal that led to Henrikh Mkhitaryan leaving Old Trafford instead.”

There is a hint at Martial’s intentions, his cousin having a go at Jose Mourinho’s transfer record, tweeting: “It’s impossible to progress under this coach’s orders. Too many examples prove it. If you see the last two years and the past with Salah, De Bruyne or Lukaku at Chelsea, I don’t invent. I think that for young players who can improve he’s not the good one. Just a view.”

He has scored 11 goals in all competitions, also providing seven assists for his team-mates.

We don't sell good players to rivals though, if he leaves it will be outside of England, he apparently doesn't like it much in the country anyway.

I still think Martial will come good for another club but it's not set in stone..I think if we can get 50m for him that's great, not that we really need the money, but 50m is a big chunk of money to put towards a more established, elite player. Would love to see Griezmann or someone come in. I just don't trust the club to spend the money well.

I'd like to see him go to Bayern

He's tailor made for Bayern and considering they've been dropping 40m on scrubs like Tolisso and Sanches they can definitely pay 50m for Martial which is what we'll seek

if he moves it will only be to an elite club

could see him at Atletico (part of Griez exchange) Bayern, Juve or Real only. IMO in this order; Bayern, Atleti, Real, Juve.

Martial strikes me as one of those players with immense talent who doesn't put as much off on the training pitch as his talent requires and doesn't have that much of a desire to be the best.

He will continue to attract big teams because of his talent but not sure if he will do much better than what we saw with United.
