Re: ARTHUR
They probably feel like pushing out a player with 4 years in his contract against his will, and benching him since the deal was struck, in the middle of a season, is a bad idea.

Re: ARTHUR
When a player is unprofessional towards his contract, he is unprofessional period. There are gazillions of examples of this.
It's like when a girl cheats on her boyfriend to sleep with you, it means further along the line she will probably cheat on you too to get with someone else. I know Hans don't get laid often but I couldn't find a better example.
Sorry not sorry.

Re: ARTHUR
Typically, Juventus has always had a hard stance on unprofessional conduct. Most recently benching Dybala for key matches last season because of a suspected rift with Allegri.
It doesn’t really matter what he does until the moment he puts on the Juve shirt. He can be the biggest cuck on earth until then for all I care. If he shows up, plays and works hard then it’s fine. If not, so be it.
Reports of him cucking Barca of all clubs at the end of how this ordeal played out doesn’t bother anyone who isn’t a Barca fan

I don't think you understand the meaning of 'cucking'.@Luca wrote:Typically, Juventus has always had a hard stance on unprofessional conduct. Most recently benching Dybala for key matches last season because of a suspected rift with Allegri.

Re: ARTHUR
Not gonna miss him, injury prone and terrible attitude. Was never gonna work out, he won't make it in this business with a medieval king name like that.

Re: ARTHUR
Arthur Melo has been criminally reported this morning by the local police in Palafrugell after he was caught giving a positive result in a breathalyser test for alcohol after suffering a minor traffic accident. [diari de girona]

Re: ARTHUR
Last night Arthur started the coppa italia QFs against Genoa and was one of the few players actually trying out there. He was good, and he was running quite a bit more than usual and trying to be involved in all facets of the game.
Then on the ~60th minute or so, there was a counter where he sprinted all the way to Genoa's goal. Morata (iirc) didn't pass it to him in what would have surely resulted in a goal if he did.
At which point Arthur collapsed out of exhaustion
full-on falling on the ground and looking like he wanted to puke or pass out. How is his stamina this low? I don't think I've ever seen that in a professional athlete besides maybe Messi on his walking days.

Re: ARTHUR
At the start of the season Arthur was focused on getting in shape as Pirlo commented that he needed to get up to speed before being introduced into the lineup. It has definitely improved, but last night was hilarious.

Re: ARTHUR
Yea, such a shame, since hes got the talent, but I keep saying he seems to physically just struggle with the pace of the games. Hope he fixes this, otherwise he just wont make it at the elite level? Probably will then need to move to lower league sides or other smaller leagues to succeed.

Don't embellish, he never fell to the ground. He actually took a couple of seconds to show his displeasure towards Morata and then he dropped into the pooping position to catch his breath. Yeah, I, too, thought that he was done, but he played the rest of the 120 minutes and his was still running around at the end
Similar stuff Sunday, against Sassuolo. For a couple of times he looked like he needed to be subbed out and 5 minutes later he was sprinting

Re: ARTHUR
@ juve forum
"Except for shielding the ball when pressed, he's god awful at pretty much everything. Can't make an accurate forward pass to save his life."
also gassed after 60mins
sounds like not much has changed
