#17 for Spain (refuse to name him since he's Barca player) is clearly the best player though... That kid has genius in him.

Nah Sarabia has been amazing he has created like 6 chances and been responsible for 2 of the goals.
Getafe have a star player on their hands

yea i also think sarabia has been better
I always said that Sarabia is the bigger talent than Morata... the club seems to invest more into morata tho

Re: OT: Euro u19's all in one discussion thread
Sarabia isn't flashy enough for Madrid. I think our club sees more potential of that in Morata... Kind of the same problem that Higuain has: as good as he is, he's not dreamy enough.
Sounds silly. But I've seen it happen over and over with Madrid where we pass on or sell a very solid player for a more flashy one on the attack.

Re: OT: Euro u19's all in one discussion thread
Honestly guys, morata lacks pace. He's a llorente-type striker potentially.

He's an in the box definition of a true number 9
Oh and he has great pace if you check his second goal and see how much ground he covered to get the pass from Sarabia as a refrence

this is just one
Re: OT: Euro u19's all in one discussion thread
He generaly is a quick torres type player ,dont know what happened today. He looks so slow today.
Re: OT: Euro u19's all in one discussion thread
Just looking at today... He seemed like he was lumbering and slow most often. I don't really make any judgement based on castilla games since that's division 3. International games is slightly more telling; although the competition isn't that great either at times. But at least you get some of the best young players in Europe/world in these.

Morata's pace doesn't seem to be too bad here

Nobody picked him up crimson, or even made an attempt to. Off the ball wasn't really the pace issue that I saw mainly because Serbia was just horrible at marking off the ball. It was once the ball was at his feet. Seemed really slow. Could just be tonight as he was off in some ways. Indecisiveness can slow you down too.

Re: OT: Euro u19's all in one discussion thread
The partnership between Morata and Sarabia was intense. Sarabia was actually damn good as a midfield maestro at times, could be useful depending how he is played at Getafe. Carvajal looked good as well, but through his attacking was sometimes out of position defensively. Right sided Marcelo?

Re: OT: Euro u19's all in one discussion thread
honestly when you ahve so many players given free roles in midfield
the striker cannot move that much and kinda has to stay in one place especially for a striker like Morata who can also head the ball and is very strong compared to Juanmi, Delofeu and Sarabia

Re: OT: Euro u19's all in one discussion thread
U19: Turkey 3 - 0 Spain
A game to forget it ever happened. 2 own goals and a blunder by the goalkeeper.
Bad luck or whatever it was, nothing went right for Spain in this game.
First it was Ramalho; he was alone near the furthest post and when the ball was crossed he did not miss it, he headed it in….. what he did apparently miss was the fact that it was his own goal.
At that point it was clear that things were not working right and the substitutes to whom Meléndez had awarded minutes due to the nature of the match (Spain had already secured the first place in the group) were not responding as well as he expected, so changes were made and Sarabia and Deulofeu came on at the beginning the second half.
6 minutes later it was Ortolá, the goalkeeper, who assisted Turkey’s number 3 to score. And very shortly after, Sergi scored in the wrong net.
