Re: Jadon Sancho - the new Messi
If Perez wants to replace Bale with this lad, im all in
he reminds me of Figo for some reason, right side player with this is ability to dribble past people when he isnt that fast (faster than figo for sure)
im a fan

odd
nothing whatsoever in German media
BILD wrote a week ago BVB gave him a raise, without actually extending the contract, from 3m to 6m per year (110k £ instead of 55k per week).
The figure the BBC quotes seem to come from the Daily Mail aka made up BS
190k per week would be be around 11m per year, I would assume Reus and Hummels both a bit more than that, Götze and Alcacer maybe a bit less, noone else close.

Re: Jadon Sancho - the new Messi
Because he's agreed a contract doesn't necessarily mean he's signed it.
That might be where the difference in BBC and Bild reporting lies.

Re: Jadon Sancho - the new Messi
If it's (190K) in the neighborhood of what Reus, Hummels, Götze and Alcacer (all of them key players) get; then it's not odd really. They are tying him up so that they can sell him for 150+mil.

That's fantastic. Now let's wait for him to have a serious injury and return to being a scrub.Hapless_Hans wrote:renamed the thread to call him the new Messi

25 - @Sanchooo10 became the first player in the #Bundesliga history to reach the mark of 25 Bundesliga goals before his 20th birthday. Unique. #BVBFCU @BlackYellow pic.twitter.com/rqi3e8xGBR

Is that a German accent? Sounds more like Haaland's accent, to me.

Getting a bit weary in context to hyping him up and saying he needs time and good coaching because I'm legit about to go full Kaladin on him and BuLi and go nuclear.
He is producing nothing.

Re: Jadon Sancho - the new Messi
Based on comparing how he plays at United with how he played at Dortmund, it seems to me that he’s one of several players at United who just aren’t being played to their strengths. He was a focal point for Dortmund.
Everything went through him, and he had the uncommon privilege of a positionally free role, but at United he’s just a cog in a larger machine who’s expected to replicate what he was able to do when he was the go-to guy who hardly ever tracked back and had freedom to roam and switch sides in the final third of the pitch.

Re: Jadon Sancho - the new Messi
Looks more and more likely that his Man United career will come to an end soon. He's still young and might be able to re-discover his Dortmund form for a smaller team that's willing to make him their main man, provided he's still able to be one.

Re: Jadon Sancho - the new Messi
He isn't PL material, simple as
Can't even do fundamental stuff correctly, has zero pace, can't dribble, can't pass, can't shoot, can't beat a man, obviously no defensive capabilities
He's also on absurd wages, nobody will come close to matching them, I'm not sure where he will end up later in his career but he has to start over again, can see him being at a Forest or Fulham I guess but as I always suspected he's a Bundesfraud (few live up to the hype outside of the league)
