He still has 20, his second best campaign. Calm down, We have become from scrawnies to title challengers.
Yall can put him down like a bunch of ignorant scrubs but that doesnt change the fact we went to the CL final and could challenge for the PL until April under his wing while he was on the wing allez

And yes, I would glad take him at Madrid and Madrid still got the last laugh on Bale. Match winner vs Atletico, Match winner vs City in the semis, match winner vs Pool meanwhile Spurs has done nothing of any note besides winning the group stage trophy.

trophies justify everything, you can try to split this however way you want, but it's a fact that Bale was an important contributor in us winning 4 CLs in 5 years. money well spent.danyjr wrote:I could count the number of memorable matches he played in the Madrid shirt. Scoring in CL finals doesn't justify his price tag. €100 million was a lot of money back then, still is tbh.

If we cannot counter-attack our forwards have too much to do because the midfield is a sideways passing masterclass.

It's more Klopp's fault for burning them out completely.
It's the third year syndrome of Klopp's 'winning cycle'. Low intensity, injuries, physical and mental fatigue etc
I remember before Klopp left, Dortmund spent more than half of the season in the relegation zone.

Re: Mo Salah appreciation thread
Getting Van Dijk back in, to move Hendo/Fabinho forward isnt going to fix the myriad of Liverpool issues.
This incredible reliance on fullbacks being the source of creation just doesnt seem sustainable. The forwards are suffering more than anyone, they look terrible unless Jota is out there and its not surprising because he is giving a completely different dimension.
Salah is still going to command a strong transfer free and he frees up Liverpool to change the system, buy a real goal scoring 9 and perhaps a midfielder who wants to the ball in high areas rather than making off ball runs to open space for others/crash the box for 2nd balls.
He is still a highly effectively player and I see no real decline but Pool need a change at the front. They dont even effectively create high pressure turnovers on a consistent basis.

It feels like it's been 5 years since you've posted here though ffs. I've been through absolute battles on here fighting the good fight. Hope your views haven't changed that much in that regard since then. Hopefully no Mourinho/Simeone/Catenaccio propaganda LOL. Welcome back.

LOL FFS im sorry I missed out, thanks bro. Once I started the 9-5 alongside the coaching I just got out of the rhythm of posting and eventually drifted off.
I wonder how long its actual been but it does feel like half a decade...time flies.
Insta is a god damn shit show. I only talk to Barca fans and even that is extremely painful for the most part. Its like a cult of zealots who lecture me on positional play, Cruyff's legacy and what Pep did. Which is ironic considering they joined the bandwagon around 2011.
Now im working from home I may aswell read some opinions that make sense.
My views havent changed that much I guess, obviously in this time football has changed and evolved and ive kept up.
But yeah, Mourinho's old football hasnt moved forward with the times and the fact he is forced into coaching lowly Spurs is hilarious. Simeone, well the man is absolute doing his best to suck all the fun out of Saul, Joao Felix and co. Looks like they might win it this season but they are slowing falling apart so we'll see.
