Why are images downloading slow

Been this like couple weeks, the page doesn't complete its download like 1 or 2 minutes.

Quick diagnose. The issue is with chrome. I tried GL on firefox and instant loading...

Not anymore, no. Used to have the issue, or a similar one, a few months back. Emoticons used to load very, very, very, very slowly, as did some images like the ones from servimg.

Quick googling told me something about gzip compression, do you have it on? Also have you just changed server?

nah it's hosted by formotion. No power here to mess with the servers etc.
Unless one of the 123213 javascripts is making it slow i think the issue is with the browser.
Maybe try Edge/chrome and see if you notice any difference.

Tried Chrome and it's downloading a lot faster, but still not perfect I think.

I had this same problem but apparently it was mostly due to my 7kbps internet speed rather than any thing else. Try solving that RG

I'm on Chrome. Images and emoticons are taking a few seconds, up to about half a minute at worst, to load. It's been that way for a few months, already. Haven't tried using Firefox.
