You just know they done that to hit a 'guns are bad' social commentary quota so people (Idiots) didn't shit on the TV Show for glorifying gun violence.

Story arc was pointless and in no way related to Frank, such a reach to have them cross paths. Now they've made it clear violence is bad etc maybe they can not touch that topic ever again Laughing

Finished it. Thought the plot dragged on a lot and had some unreal filler. But Bernthal was amazing and most of the episodes were really good. I just hope Netflix let the writers do a Stranger Things and let them do as many episodes as the show needs and not force every individual show get 13 episodes season.

The violence though, Jesus Laughing

Micro being played by Kenny Omega was surprising. His wife tho, how the hell did Frank resist that

4 episodes in and it's terrible lol. It's almost like they knew it's going to get cancelled so they didn't bother with anything other than bullets and gore.

Only thing that is keeping me watch is Jon Bernthal.

This is like bottom tier level on par with Iron fist.

Hope it gets better but with the characters already introduced (all very very shit), there is not much hope.

I'm enjoying it so far, though plot-wise it is a mess. Ben Barnes is matching Jon Bernthal in intensity. He's been great to watch.

Basically the first 9 episodes are filler. You can watch a 10 minutes recap and not miss a thing. Would also save you from the most cringeworthy characters and their interactions.

Yeah that face reveal was underwhelming as hell. Dominic West's Jigsaw looked far more accurate in War Zone, which has gotten better to me with age.

One other thing, having finished the season, Bernthal's great actor and he's entertaining as hell in this show, but his take on the Punisher is quite inaccurate. Stevenson and even Jane's takes were more accurate.

I love when characters in movies are supposed to be disfigured and look horrific, and then they've just got a tiny scar or something.

Finished it

Gonna take my word back from earlier. It got progressively worse.

Ending would make you laugh.

Worst part is that there is not a single memorable fight scene either.

I understand taking the comic characters, taking a twist and create their own. I don't like it sometime but i can appreciate it. Like Bernthal Punisher.

The character Jigsaw is named that mainly due to the huge disfigurement on his face and in this version he hardly resembles a hideous man. It is basically like portraying the Joker without the whole clown like face painting and makeup.

That aside the portrayal didn't do anything for me, he was basically a guy with a few scars. I didn't like Daredevil the series that much, but i thought their strongest thing they did well was their portrayal of the villains. Wilson Fisk and Bullseye strong portrayal was excellent you could see they were very troubled and complicated figures. Billy Russo/Jigsaw was quite meh.

I think what did Jigsaw/Russo in with regards to this series is that really poorly contrived storyline with the doctor. It stunk of Joker/Harley Quinn to me. Just didn't work. They 100% could've spiralled him down without her needing to be the focal point they made her.
