Buffoon would sooner drag Juve and the Italy NT than retire
Make it 3-0. Where is Juve's defense? My word. Juve still lacking in #CL department. #BarcellonaJuventus #FCBJuvepic.twitter.com/N6W3mo07rV

Where is he diving to? Whats he doing? It is time for Schezney to step in ahead of this buffoon, yes yes, he's old and gold, but if you really want to win this competition, you don't reward performances like that. People will cite experience, but what experience, conceding 10-2 against Spanish teams?
Also, a tangent discussion, Allegri? BC you there? Please stay safe

Lmao Buffon had no chance against Messi, nor would any goalie have when Messi has only 1 or 2 players in front and only 10 meters from penalty area.

Juve defense was utter trash, feel bad for Buffon. Needs to retire so his name isn't tainted by these trash defenders

Focus on Dollarumma who couldn't stop a beach ball if it was kicked by Immobile.
As if Buffon was at fault for tonight, of all matches
We just suck and got hammered, as a Milan fan you should know exactly how that feels

Buffon had a good match? Alright, did not see said good match but sure. But he wasn't the only one that I found did poorly today. He should retire but more to do with his legacy as it is heading down the Iker road than anything else.

Tbf I don't think he had a good match, but what was he supposed to do about those goals? He made the saves he should have made and he didn't make the ones you couldn't expect ANY goalkeeper to make. He had an average game.

Had 3 really good intervetions: Messi Free kick, Suarez shot in the first half, and a long very dangerous pass in the first half where he got out of the gk area and had a good clearence.
He isn't good in posession, but that was never the case. What he should've done better?

Re: Buffoon would sooner drag Juve and the Italy NT than retire
Not to take anything away from Messi's performance, we all know how good he is, but I think the main thing that made him a difference-maker in this game was the fact that he was the only player on the pitch who had the balls to even attempt to run past the defenders and take a shot. Juve's defenders looked slow and disorganized, and it seemed like an ideal scenario for Barca's forwards, yet Messi was the only player who stepped up and made use of the situation. Dembele also got into 1 or 2 potentially dangerous situations, but he seemed incapable of retaining possession of the ball, and his lack of composure was exactly what you'd expect from such a young player - and it's in my opinion, the main difference between him and M'Bappe.

Yeah, would've made a hell lot of a difference if he would've jumped with 1 second delay like these young sissies gks do at these shots

Crapshit thread from an overly frustrated Milang fan, only attacking Buffon because he's the biggest Juve symbol

Then you're also petulant and can't see apart from a red and black tinted lens. Dunno what petulant means btw
I bet this thread was created weeks ago and you were only waiting for a big defeat to post it. No need to blame Buffon tonight as if he suddenly became persona non grata.... Messi had our defenders in his back pocket in second half, reality is that.

How so? He was just named the best keeper in last season's edition in the CL. He rarely puts a foot wrong in a position where being mistake prone means an extremely short lived career, his longevity has not only demonstrated that he is not only not prone to making mistakes, but he is clearly committed to playing.
Buffon could've retired many seasons ago and gone down as one of the very best in his position. He plays because he plays well, he's the captain, and the leader.
Every time Juventus or Italy loses, the same comments arise. He is scapegoated because he's older, not because he's not a good player.
Notice how Barzagli escapes blame despite being 36? Or no one mentions rightbackraro, Benatia? Losing 3-0 is not the fault of one player, but 11, a manager and the squad as a whole.
Just because he was rooted on two perfect shots and helpless by one of the worst clearances by the worst player of both squads doesn't mean he's not great.
Also, maybe its lost on Milan fans, which I can understand why, but we, as Juve fans, do stand by our players and its easy with Buffon of all players.

You should try the rossoneri tinted lens, Luca, it's very fun.
Ventura pulls out a deluded 4-2-4 ? Buffon's fault
Right back Sturaro because MDS got injured? Buffon's fault
Defense struggles against Messi the greatest of all time ? Buffon's fault
Donnarumma not the Nazionale starter ? FIGC has Juventus bias

Niente new ES, I said it even last year that his conversion saves - shots was ridicolous, but ppl didn't realize it why BBC concededed few chances
GK totally finished that plays just because his name is Buffon.
But it is so , Italy is subjected to Buffon , both NT and press, even if we talk of a scumbag that opens his mouth just to say bullshit

Re: Buffoon would sooner drag Juve and the Italy NT than retire
If any of you gorgeous mofos (and football experts) know what you are talking about you can notice that for the past 3 season Buffon starts slowly (most probably due to age) and peaks later on. For the past 3 seasons every September some nincompoops come out and bash him only to eat their words later.
Also to say that the only reason he starts is because of who he is, is at least an insult to the game (and at your undeniable expertise). Last season there were games where the entire football world applauded him for his performances but let's just focus on what suits us. Right lads?

Re: Buffoon would sooner drag Juve and the Italy NT than retire
People already forgot how many times he was hailed last year for saving multiple games with incredible saves His incredible performances even led to people demanding Ballon d'Or for him (obviously excessively) until the CL final.
He had an average game yesterday, not contesting that, but our defense is utterly ridiculous this year.
You can pick one or two games every few months to highlight how bad he is, bit it just makes you look silly.

Buffon is old 40 years ffs ,
I don't get what it is mistaken to say he is finished. He was missing even against Israel some days ago..Sczezsny would be upgrade now.
It is a fact , not my problem, another GK 'd have saved the Casemiro shot on CL final for example. But I repeat it is not my problem.
