Absolutely love the typical GL knee-jerk thread.

The natural conclusion of selling your best players year after year. Nothing more than Cuckrotta's chickens coming home to roost.

I saw you enter the chat, and asked you what you thought about Dembele's performance, which prompted you to suddenly leave to buy a bratwurst from a local street vendor. I guess "irresistable Dembele" had to take a backseat while you were drooling over your second favorite phallic foodHapless_Hans wrote:Thimmy wrote:What's your opinion on Dembele's performance in this game, sports? Re: Is Juventus finished?
They are top of the table and won their matches easily tbh
Finished on what context ? As contenders in Europe or overally ?
Personally not convinced on their mercato , 90 mln on Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa and no replacement for Bonucci who was key player and other 2 defenders are old and often injured ( Chiellini and Barzagli . And I don't rate Rugani despite GL hype)

Re: Is Juventus finished?
It's too soon to judge our mercato I think. Douglas Costa has started two games. Bernardeschi has played like 30 minutes combined.
De Sciglio's first start sees him injured. Howedes hasn't played yet. Bentancur played one match and some garbage minutes in Serie A.
The only player we can actually so far take a look at is Matuidi, and he's been quite good.
It isn't easy integrating 5-6 players every season, I'd say we do it better than anyone so I'm calm.

Re: Is Juventus finished?
You mean Douglas Costa the one who cost 6 millions ? Some huge financial risk that... And Bernardeschi at 40 is ok in this inflated market. How much Gabigol cost again ?
Also "we haven't replace Bonucci"... now i don't know where the hell is this Bs coming from. Just because you don't rate Rugani (for whatever reason) doesn't mean he is not Bonucci's heir in Marotta's mind. Caldara is set for next neason and we also have captain Howedes whose better than all 2 CBs Inter have, as a back-up.
One loss and we scrap everything, we were far better last year and should close the books already. Thank god that our management is more composed than Milang/Outer fans of this forum

Re: Is Juventus finished?
I watched only first half yesterday and on that basis I can firmly say that Juve were much more better team than us. They were absolutely lethal on counters. Pjanic and Matuidi were shielding defence and their forwards were absolutely breaking out everytime we lost the ball. Had MDS shot went in and Dybala scored we would have been discussing something else imo.

I didn't actually read that, sorry. And I don't think I suddenly left chat rather than I continued to watch my team's game and not pay attention to chat.
I did not see a second of the Barca Juve game, but quite honestly I'm convinced enough of Dembélé's quality that I don't feel the need to have to explain after each game the kid plays

Re: Is Juventus finished?
Juventus have no idea how to deal with Spurs high pressing. This is pathetic. Burnley are better on the ball than this team.
Juve fans, being the biggest loudmouths on this forum, what do you have to say for yourselves?

Re: Is Juventus finished?
Yes lol, they were outplayed by Tottenham overall, a difference in how clinical they were was what put them through
Barely beating Tottenham and Juventus feel like they have it
Spurs showed all of their deficiencies

Re: Is Juventus finished?
Should have went out to Spurs, Brexit league wouldn't have rolled over like this.
Said I would never forgive Juventus after the CL final and I gave them another chance, and what they did with it was spit in my hand
Legitimately dislike this club now. Someone get a real team to knock Madrid out ffs.
Up there in the fraud category with PSG as far as I'm concerned

What was the last (and only) team to kick Real out of CL in last 4 years ? Not Barca, not Spurs

Re: Is Juventus finished?
Certainly seems the end of an era at Juventus.
Kudos to them for maintaining this level for so many years with so little net spend and some very shrewd acquisitions but in these days of so much dirty oil money how many days can you possibly survive like that???
Yes Spurs should have gone through. They are a very nice team but they would have certainly choked. If now we are saying City is not mentally strong enough then Spurs are probably even weaker in that respect.
Max Allegri may have been my choice for the best coach of today if he had handled the dressing room fracas during the UCL 2017 final half time much better.
