"News" section in the OT

We could have another section that specifically categorizes for World news. Politics & religion is too specific and Odds & ends is too vague with a lot of material pertaining to mostly banter.

The Hurricane thread I just posted can't fit anywhere and its pretty big news.

We could merge the Politics and Religion section into a International News thread or just give it a new heading. Like "World News" or some sort.

We're looking into it.

It does offer a subsection of material for which there, as of now, is no location. Sure, people can (and do) post news items in certain areas (Donald Trump thread, talk about whatever thread), but there is no specific section where current news can be posted and discussed, nor perhaps even random articles.

Whether such a place would get traction or attention I don't really know, but I personally believe the only way to truly find out is to do so experimentally.

The hubs activity--while staying relatively constant--has accounted for an increasing amount of the forums traffic I would estimate.

I don't really have a horse in the race obviously, just laying out my opinion on why it might be worth a shot.
