Agree with Nick, Probably sloshed each day, Texted his Ex and friends for validation and maybe grew an unkept beard during that time.

He is out for 4 month. He is expected to be out for between three and a half months and four months.

Maybe he would have been in a better shape had he not gone on strike and refused to train with Dortmund

Karma tbh.. Even Neymar with the biggest transfer of the century kept on playing for barca till the day he basically signed for Paris. The guy even trained after he had signed his medicals for psg ffs. Dembele

Nope.  You can blame training if you get something like this early in a game or if you're overweight, out of shape, etc.  But when it happens in the middle of a game and there was no indication of fitness problems...  you can't say that.

He's never had a muscular problem in his life.  

Just a fluke.  He had a full preseason and played the first Dortmund official game as well.  2 weeks off and after 2 weeks of full training + 2 games+...  saying it was some kind of fitness problem is just ignorant and irresponsible = GL in a nutshell.

It was an awkward play that caused it too. He backheeled to save the ball and then tried to stop on a dime and turn.

That was so predictable.

He did act like an idiot towards Dortmund though. Nothing to do with the injury, that was just him being absolutely unprofessional. The injury, however, that is just genuine hard luck.

Look on the bright side; once he returns from injury, Sports and possibly Hans as well, will blame any poor performance on this injury. If he happens to actually play well, it's all thanks to his exceptional strength, courage, discipline, talent, and a heart of gold. Win/win situation

I don't expect him to play well this season. It would be very surprising if he does. My expectations will return next season.

Was not even an out of context or mistranslation, homie actually said those words. With a very straight face too.

He said that Dembele never had muscle problems in the past so perhaps he doesn't have the experience to recognise it & if he hadnt tried to backheel the ball, he wouldnt have gotten injured.

Doesnt sound all that dumb to me. A weird comment to make surely but maybe he didn't mean to put it that way.

Injured for another month

With the injury he had I thought he came too fast. Now he is out again and if he is not careful he will ruin his career. Not that he won't play again but he will lose his speed differential

Spent 300 million on Cou and Demb but Paulinho is the biggest star so far, 8 goals this season
