Gianluigi Donnarumma has agreed a five-year, €6 million per year contract extension with AC Milan

There is still bad blood between him and the fans, expect PSG to activate that 50m clause next summer

Good for Milan and good for Donnarumma. The break down didnt make sense for anyone but Raiola.
I don't think the bad blood from the fans will last too long. It took Donnarumma less than a week since the U21 ended to agree a contract. Remember that it was just Raiola negotiating before.

i agree. it took all that to convince him, if he really was that loyal to milan its a no brainer... to sign extention, and develop into even better goalkeeper.
the fact that he had explored to go elsewhere, and took 6 million and 50 million buy out clause (if milan fails to qualify CL) thats like demanding club too much
he was important but he is not indespensable.. by no means he deserves to be highest paid player .... ahead of everyone else... its just 1 full season...
18 year old have his agent bully the club and fans ... man we had better times with players

Re: Donnarumma makes his fortune at PSG
he will be gone from our club.. the way i see it, bridge is burned between him and fans... even if he extended contract... he is going to get backslash from fans .. thats for sure! and i dont even blame them

Re: Donnarumma makes his fortune at PSG
I think the management messed up big time with this one. 5 million was huge enough for an 18 year old why offer him a million more plus another million for his brother Antonio. The management really messed up here.
Selling him off this summer would have been a smart move. I don't even see him performing with the pressure and backlash from the fans

Even if they are looking to sell him after the recent contract antics, they'd never be able to maximize his value without an extension. So, it's best for all parties that he extended his contract.

After a few saves they'll quickly forget it ever happened, Football fans are very definition of fickle.

Either that, OR they won't gloss over his blunders any longer
