Its Alves, he has always been a prick. He can go and gtfo of the club.
There had been news that he wanted to get extended while Juve didn't want to, or at least hadn't yet. Maybe it has to do with that.

What a disrespectful comment to old lady
Treating Juventus as some door mat club

He's not wrong. In the eyes of the public if he wants to become a top 3 player of his generation, he will have to leave Italy.

He's easily one of the least likable characters in football.
It's actually pretty easy to dislike him when you're not a Farça fan.

Re: Dani Alves: "Dybala will have to leave Juventus one day if he wants to reach his full potential"
He's probably just annoyed he got to a CL final with a choker team and lost to the team he hates more than any other team tbh
But what did he really think was going to happen, making a CL final with Juve?

I wonder if BarcaLearning would feel the same about Dani if he was saying you need to leave Barca to reach your full potential

To be fair, Alves did his very best to be a part of the choking performance so he can't be that annoyed.
Also, isn't he still employed with Jjuve? Serious disrespect I must say.

Dani Alves wrote:"We have talked and I told him that one day he will have to leave to improve," he told Brazilian television channel Esporte Interativo.
"He is a jewel that will blossom. We talked so many times about it and I said one day, I don't know when, that he will have to leave Juventus if he is to improve even more."

Eh when he puts it that way it's decent career advice. Italy doesn't have the best players, and he needs to face the best to become the best. I think that's fairly non controversial?
Bit a dick move to say it in public while still under contract though.

Of course its controversial and the backlash from it is merited. It doesn't even matter if he is right or not, he is a Juventus player, employed by the club and representing the fans. Thoroughly unprofessional. He was never at home in Juve and this just seals it for the future.

Re: Dani Alves: "Dybala will have to leave Juventus one day if he wants to reach his full potential"
There's nothing wrong with advising your teammate in private to leave the club if they want to improve even further.
What's wrong, unacceptable and insanely unprofessional though is to say it in public.
If Dani truly had had good intentions at heart, he wouldn't have repeated it in public because it's incredibly disrespectful to Juventus.
I would add that The Old Lady ought to do something about it and not sweep it under the rug and pretend nothing happened. They would be a laughing stock if they didn't act on it. Just my two cents...

Re: Dani Alves: "Dybala will have to leave Juventus one day if he wants to reach his full potential"
Fairly non controversial if you're not a part of the club in some fashion. For Jjuve fans and the club, that is gonna stink a good bit. They are still nursing that horrid UCL final loss and now one of their players, who btw had himself a forgettable match, decided to say that pack of madness about their starlet. I say it is quite controversial from their standpoint.

Yes, he needs to go to a club that has had more recent success in the CL. There aren't many, and they are all in Spain.

Re: Dani Alves: "Dybala will have to leave Juventus one day if he wants to reach his full potential"
Alves is a fool, he sees the very short term situation as a generality for the next decade. Stupido acting excentric in the medias once again, being respectful would have been more appropriate.
What will Serie A look like in 2 years ? With massive investments both Milan clubs will be competitive again, surely Napoli will maintain a certain quality. Italian football is about to make a come-back, those who follow Serie A this season know it damn well.

First they brought agent Evra who recruited Pogba to United.
Now agent Alves who is recruiting Dybala.
Wtf is with Juventus and snitches.

The Juve management need to stop this image that Juve is a stop gap club
Even after reaching 2 finals, i don't feel players/clubs take them as seriously as they'd like. On a superficial level, yes definitely a current European powerhouse. However, they need to make a statement by keeping some of their players, not Alves i mean, i'm talking about the Sandro's, Dybala's and Pogba'. I guess what im talking about is corporate culture

2 finals in 4 years puts them at the top along with Real and Atletico. Not even Barca or Bayern have that recent success.
Alves is on his way out. He will be going to Man City, probably.

Barca won in 2015, thats 2 years ago.
So reaching the final and getting hammered is bigger success than winning it?
