It's obvious than even our b to c team is far superior to any of those teams in this competition.

Portugal, as everyone knows, is easily the worst European Champion since 2004 or even longer.
Chile are hugely overrated due to looking good in comparison to the pathetic and pitiful current editions of Brazil and Argentine NTs.

Strange to have that reaction off this game tbh, I watched the first half and I don't think he had a single good touch.

Goretzka is great, will be one of the world's best midfielders in 5 years or so.

After the VAR steps in and talks to the ref, the ref gives the wrong guy a red instead of the yellow

Another round of confusion, then he has to take back the red and give it to the right guy - of course, red card is far too harsh in the first place and the yellow decision was correct even if the player wasn't

Also, the linesmen just called a German counter offside where Werner was clearly still in our half at the moment of the pass - so VAR can rectify goals wrongly scored offside, but obviously not attacks stopped wrongly for offside - this is a huge bias towards defenses IMO

It's not just about this mistake, it's about the comical and often downright embarassing delays for every little call. It's ridiculous and can't work without a serious revamp.
