No one does lol.

It's a smart move, gives their players a much needed break before the WC

Hope Germany dont win this obviously, dont deserve to. So hoping for Mexico or Chile to upset Portugal.

It's obvious than even our b to c team is far superior to any of those teams in this competition.

Portugal, as everyone knows, is easily the worst European Champion since 2004 or even longer.
Chile are hugely overrated due to looking good in comparison to the pathetic and pitiful current editions of Brazil and Argentine NTs.

Mexico's barely managed to keep beating an USA managed by Jürgen Klinsmann. Enough said.

Goretzka, Rüdiger, Sandro Wagner and Draxler trump this clown show every day of the week

Wouldn't mind signing Goretzka tbh, no chance if Bayern are in though.

Strange to have that reaction off this game tbh, I watched the first half and I don't think he had a single good touch.

Goretzka is great, will be one of the world's best midfielders in 5 years or so.

lmao the video refereeing is an unmitigated disaster

referee gives the wrong Cameroonian a yellow card - confusion - VAR is activated

After the VAR steps in and talks to the ref, the ref gives the wrong guy a red instead of the yellow rofl rofl

Another round of confusion, then he has to take back the red and give it to the right guy - of course, red card is far too harsh in the first place and the yellow decision was correct even if the player wasn't

Also, the linesmen just called a German counter offside where Werner was clearly still in our half at the moment of the pass - so VAR can rectify goals wrongly scored offside, but obviously not attacks stopped wrongly for offside - this is a huge bias towards defenses IMO

Germany - Cameroon 3-1

weak first half followed by a good 2nd half

Very early goal after HT by Demirbay with a beautiful assist by Draxler
Then Cameroon got a player harshly sent off amidst bizarre circumstances( see above), and conceded the 2nd right after

Werner with two goals, in between of them Ter Floppen with another outrageous NT howler

Crash and burn for one mistake? You guys sure are dramatic Laughing

VAR made 4 right decisions before this but sure it's a failure because it's not 100% right

Instead of 5 mistakes which would've happened without we now have 1, which is much better than what we're used to, so yeah it's been a massive success so far.

Well, Neuer could rest assured his position on the National Team is absolutely secured for at least, checks wiki for his age, another 6-8 years.

It's not just about this mistake, it's about the comical and often downright embarassing delays for every little call. It's ridiculous and can't work without a serious revamp.
