Again as somebody who is a clubs fan above all else, when they make actual players feel like slugs, the knock on effect for clubs is horrible.

Now you'll have ANY generic 70 rated players with below average stats feeling absolutely unplayable, going up against what will soon be 90 rated pro's with Messi stats + more pace.

No thanks. Will get off some poor sap for Christmas and play career mode if they've fixed some of the game breaking career mode issues like winning a treble, making 400M profit, doubling club value and getting sacked 6 months later because your new long term targets are at 0% and the game thinks you're not achieving anything.

And i'd also like players that end up being 90 rated from the youth scout system to have more than 58 stamina by the time they're 25, despite me actually manually training their stamina.

All youth players should have 70 stamina base, with potential to go to 75 minimum for more creative types and beyond 80 for others.

Can't play players I've grown for 5 seasons more than 1 in 3 games because they run out of stamina mid game lol. Gtfo. Bullshit.

This pretty much sums up most of the issues I'm having with this game.

These are the main issues (ON PC):

Input delay when defending. You stop flicking LS and defender still moves. Press LT doesn't help. In FIFA 17, press LT player stops into jockeying. This is delayed on DEMO.

Player switching broken. Switching with RS is unreliable.

Manual interceptions are broken. Passes go through defenders' legs.

And finally... manual tackling is broken.

TLDR: They should patch asap or we will see Football turning into Basketball all year long.

Now for the sake of being realistic we have defending, passing and crossing problems. And the penalty/free kick system is some top shit.

I agree, but evidently some people like those arbitrary elements of half arsed realism. Hell, I'm sure some people would be more than happy if they just slowed everything down by 20% and called it FIFA 19.

Realism is impossible lol because to keep the game flowing you need to be able to make passes that only somebody with a birdseye view could see. So unless they nerf passing to the point that 99% of players need to be angled correctly to see a pass I.E no spinning 40 yard first time passes then it's going to be unrealistic.

And if they did make it so that you can only pass where you can see within reason, people will rage because the game will be a lot slower in all aspects.

I play on Legendary and it's just artificial difficulty, they don't have a certain playstyle, they outright cheat quite often, with random scrubs having insane strength and pace

As for AI on your team, they toned down a massive complaint from last year (AI defending, top players never even selected their CB's, just ran around with a CM and let he AI auto intercept) but there's no middle ground now, your players run around like headless chickens and part like the red sea

if you look online now you see complaints that every game ends up 5-5 or more online because the AI is useless, it's alright saying manually control them but it's quite literally impossible to cover your defensive entirely manually

Yeah that's vile i'm more concerned with clubs because if UT is ridiculous then clubs GKs and AI against 6'5 Messi pro's is gonna be even worse.

Harder to cover multiple passing lanes with one player now when pressing imo. Gonna have to play more games as any though to see if pressings properly fixed.

I like to think that I've always been very good at controlling defenders manually, but they slowed down the reaction time on defenders so much, that it's practically impossible to be good at it in FIFA 18. You better not make a move in the wrong direction, because regardless of how fast you react and attempt to turn back again, the player will drag his arse behind him as if he'd eaten an anchor.

Funny they've done the whole polar opposite thing again, as last year you could bang out 4 well timed 5* skill moves and a defender would still get the ball clean and put you on your arse despite being off balance and contorting his spine. Failing that, he'd turn around and catch you

So they've flipped it then, like FIFA 15 when crossing and heading was OP they made it pointless on 16

Also got his Turkish teammate Mor who has Messi level potential based on his stats imo.
