Apparently (probably just paper talk) Rose would be open to a move to Chelsea and Conte has ordered us to get him.

Matt Law says we're after Aurier but he looks likely to go to Utd.

We need to offer Spurs 50m for Rose and wrap up Cancelo/Aurier swiftly. We're never getting Sandro.

Rose would be a quality addition, and it does sound like he'd force a move to us, The issue is that there has never been a transfer between us and Spurs since 1985 Laughing

I think Rose could be the best possible option for LWB but 50m is steep. I suppose if Walker is worth 50m, so is Rose.

I'd rather get the Ox than Aurier or Cancelo.

Looks like we're in negotiations with Valencia for Cancelo.

Still very little news on LWB, though.

I don't think those reports are true about Cancelo. Valencia CEO recently said there was no offer for Cancelo. Could be that our interest is legit though.

I'm not even sure why we're supposedly after Van Dijk. I hope Marina realizes that she needs to seal at least 2 signings this week.

To be fair, Marina is more or less the mouthpiece for Roman, she won't get the sack as long as she does what he says.

The Standard are reporting we are closing in on the Ox for 35m pounds. We're still in negotiations for Cancelo and Drinkwater, and Sergi Roberto is our other CM target. Roberto is apparently frustrated at the Paulinho siging (lol) so a move could be possible.

And A Bola and Di Marzio are reporting another bid for Sandro was rejected, 80m Euros, apparently.

So we seem to be busy, which is better than the radio silence of the last few weeks.

Marina wouldn't be fired per se. She'd just be transfered to another of his businesses. But that's hypothetical. The transfer business so far has been shambolic and she deserves a lot of blame for it. 4 good signings does not cover for the 10 players we lost since January.

Matt Law says we're stepping up our talks for incoming players. Drinkwater, Ox, Cedric are our main targets. We still want Alex Sandro and we're keeping tabs on Ross Barkley.

The lack of alternate LWB options is worrying, I hope we have our back up options.

Also worth noting that Marchisio is apparently unhappy at Juve and could leave before the transfer window shuts.

Definitely worth a punt if true, he is far better than Drinkwater and will probably be cheaper.

we bid 30m pounds for DD, Leicester are still asking for 40m.

Nizaar Kinsella is reporting that Schalke don't want to risk signing Baba and will try again in Jan. Looks like he will stay with us and recover, it's not impossible that he'll get game time with us but it's unlikely.

Matt Law says that the Ox rejected 180k P/w from Arsenal as he wants to leave.

Chelsea have a 35m pound offer on the table for him, so it's up to Arsenal to decide whether to cash in or not.

Looks like Arsenal will sell Ox and Leicester are preparing to sign a Drinkwater replacement.

I expect both to join before the transfer deadline.

We've agreed a 35m pound deal for Ox, he looks set to join, even BBC are reporting it.

Reports in France say we've also agreed a fee for Drinkwater but this is less widely reported.

Drinkwater has submitted an official transfer request.

We've offered 25m pounds for Barkley, and unless Spurs offer a higher bid, we'll probably get him, too.

And apparently we're confident of signing LLorente for 15m, too.
