He seems to know who Cole and Bucks are. Matt Hardy said in an interview that he is a fan of the Bucks.

Wasn't it he just told Matt Hardy to tell them to look after Matt and Jeff in their Ladder match because they were working WM the next night lol?

Cesaro had a cooking channel in the past. Shows more character here than he has so far in his entire WWE career.

I'm not much of a fan of the indie style either, but Orton shouldn't even talk.

He's never had a great match. His entire in ring hype is because he performs moves crisply. Laughing

Orton is a reliable safe worker without much of a star match. He an have a 20 year career & 20 title reigns but overall will be forgotten a few years after his retirement - He needs those top moments !

And the problem with him is he incredibly boring & is poor mic worker. I would take a freaking jobber like Jinder Mahal over him as champ, his matches against Wyatt also sucked!

SD did lose Miz, Ambrose, Wyatt to RAW & Cena to part time stuff, that is 4 of the best mic workers & possibly different sketched out characters who have been in the WWE for 5-6 years. That is a massive massive loss !

They got Charlotte & New Day so now they will have to build up Rusev, Jinder, Tye etc I guess ! Talking Smack without Bryan has been boring too !

Speaking of Bryan, we were discussing his heel run yesterday, What an entertaining run it was -

Signed a new 2 year contract with ROH & NJPW. Adam Cole is supposed to the big star carrying NXT, Vince has wanted to build NXT around him for quite a while - This is like a well kept secret.

It is possibly time to put Roode on the main roster & maybe Itami in the CW division. NXT is pretty stacked now but now is a star like Balor, Nakamura, Joe were !

Seen some Adam Cole stuff. He's in the mould of guys like Rollins, Owens, Styles, Zayn, Joe etc. Basically another indy wrestler with a 'regular guy' personality and look.

Will buddy up with HHH and win the NXT title. Beats Cena clean on his WWE debut. Talks about how here's here to bring about change and how he's a 'real wrestler' because he's been wrestling around the world for 20 years. Then he'll be handed a world title despite not being ready or over, simply because he's a HHH guy from NXT.

Talking Smack is always meh without Bryan tbh.

He's fantastic at bringing character out of people and making them engaging.

Probably better at getting people over than he is himself tbh Laughing

There's some good episodes with Shane/JBL but for the most part not so much.

fter lighting the fire, Randy Orton then returned to the scene in a tweet to Bubba Ray Dudley, who posted a photo of him flying off the top rope at a rent Ring of Honor show with the caption “Dive…” Orton snapped back, “lol there is a difference between a young hungry talent diving and an old outta shape ‘vet’ …..falling”.

Orton is a clown taking shots at people busting their ass - He would be a nobody, failed guy living on food stamps if he didn't have the Orton name, he was literally hand-held & pushed for years despite having 0 mic skills, presence or amazing matches.

I have always personally liked Orton, but if you look at 10-12 time champions or more they were all fabulous mic workers. Orton has never stepped out of 3rd gear in his matches although he is crisp & safe.

Why would would crap on 20 year veterans like Bubba Dudley (who also has faults) as a fat out of shape veteran falling publicly? I mean that is disgusting behaviour.

Anyways something needs to happen to him. Literally a jobber like Jinder is 100 times more interesting than him. He either needs to take the Jericho role or turn heel or work on his character - He is literally dragging the whole of SD down at the moment !

Wonder what the equivalent of the indy style would be in football. hmm

No psychology = Playing with no tactics
Spot monkey / flip flopping = Spamming skill moves
Superkick = Overhead kick
No selling = Diving
Strong style = Slide tackling / aggressive play

Spot on as usual imo.

"Vince Russo was joined on his podcast show by his co-host Jeff Lane and Glenn Gilberti (Disco Inferno). Russo said he truly believes that Triple H is working Vince, and although he had a lot of pleasurable with HHH in the past, he also remembers times where he wasn't easy to deal with. He recalls one time when HHH refused to do a job for D-Lo Brown, who had put HHH over for months upon months. This really aggravated Russo as the creative team wanted to keep D-Lo strong and the one time they asked Triple H to do the job, he refused.

Russo stated that he thinks Russo has conceived McMahon that social media is WWE's most important statistic at this point, ahead of television ratings and the sort. Since social media is comprised of mostly hardcore fans, WWE's product has skewed towards a niche fanbase in an attempt to get positive reinforcement from their social media target base. Gilberti admits that this is a possible scenario, and there's no denying that WWE's product has basically transitioned into an indy federation only produced with a higer budget and higher production costs. Russo states that he's certain that Vince has no idea what social media is, and has been a victim of the people and 'yes men' he's surrounded himself with for a long time. Russo believes that McMahon has gone into 'Vince mode' when he refuses to listen to anyone else, and that the WWE have become a novelty act. Russo says that WWE will have more people stop watching when they've seen every flip and move.

Gilberti states that when your entire television program is centred upon wrestling, that's a show that you can miss. However, when a television show is based around enticing storylines, that's can't miss television. When wrestling was at its peak, shows were based around captivating storylines and angles that ultimately resulted in matches that people had to see as they were invested in it.

Speaking about Emma's most recent shoulder injury, Gilberti says that he feels these injuries are no longer accidents. Talents continue to place themselves in dangerous positions and it's only a matter of time before all of that catches up with them. He believes that the majority of performers don't know how to protect each others, and that there's a severe lack of understanding in terms of in-ring safety in the business today. Gilberti thinks that it's interesting there isn't more backstage criticism on executing dangerous moves. Interesting enough, Gilberti says he has it on good authority that Vince and other WWE officials were furious with Sheamus after he kicked Jeff Hardy in the face during The Hardys against Cesaro/Sheamus match at Payback, and knocked Jeff's tooth out.

Gilberti says that there are a lot of people who say that this era has the best workers and talent pool of all time, but it couldn't be more opposite. He says that a lot of today's performers are terrible workers because they're not working at all, they're just doing everything for real or doing certain things for the sake of a cheap pop. He says that there's no skill in kicking someone in the face for real.

Speaking about a lack of selling in today's product, Russo and Gilberti both agree with one another that a veteran performer like Booker T on commentary spends half of the matches trying to bail these guys out, and make sense of the fact that one minute they can't walk, and the next minute they're diving off the top rope."

Any chance they are just saying 6 months so when he comes back in 2 months, it makes him look stronger than he already is? Laughing

If it's true, I hope Ambrose stays as far away as possible from Lesnar.

I can see Rollins being the first victim, then followed by Balor hmm

Since Wyatts fell apart, Orton's gone back to being a bland face etc etc Strowman was the only thing keeping me half watching. Because of his constant improvements and popularity he was possibly competition for Reigns for FoTC. I guess at least he doesn't need to job to Brock now.

@CMPunk
Other will always try to project their own insecurities on you. Happiness is priceless.

Pretty despicable for Orton to shi* on indy wrestlers who are talented, love wrestling & are making a livelihood - Just shows his own insecurities because he has 0 mic skills or charisma &
his matches are all mediocre !

I rarely agree with Punk, but he is 100% right in this regard !

F4WOnline.com’s Dave Meltzer is reporting Japanese wrestling star Io Shirai has accepted an offer to join WWE.

Shirai is one of the top wrestlers in Japan’s Stardom promotion, and previously had a tryout with WWE back in March. There is currently no start date for Shirai; fellow Stardom competitor Kairi Hojo is also set to debut with WWE soon and should start at the WWE Performance Center soon.

Meltzer previously reported Shirai opted to stay in Japan after WWE showed interest in her last year, but appears to have changed her mind.

Holy shi* - Io Shira! Hojo, Asuka & Shirai are going to tear up WWE !

Hojo & Shirai -
