I figured not many outside our Serie A crowd watch Sampdoria or follow Schick. Very exciting player breaking through Samp this season.



21 year old striker, Czech. He is fast, he is tall (187cm) he has great technique and dribbling. He is on the radar of every big Serie A club and probably every other club as well. His combination of height and technique is very rare, plus watching him play is really entertaining and his play looks classy as hell. He has a lot of old school dribbling and tricks in his game, like his "Bergkamp" goal last week. Most importantly, he has a cool name and looks like prime Ivan Drago.

So far he has 10 goals and 1 assists in 1170 min in Serie A, which include some against Juve, Torino, Lazio, Roma and Fiore. 106 min/(G+A).

Juve should get on that asap.

We were the first on him two months ago but I suppose it's late now, there will be a whole line on him.
REAL talent, he doesn't just score ( for example, i don't rate Cholito) but he is very technique and he moves l intelligently. You can realize the real talent whenever you watch him playing.
Congrats to Sampdoria scouts, he didn't have scored much in Czech Republic

You are acting like Arnautovic is a scrub. It's a fair comparison. Watching the youtube video you posted reminded me of Arnautovic for Stoke. He's scored some nice goals and has some flair and good technique and statistically they have scored around the same amount of goals.

I don't think Arnautovic is a scrub, you are the one that wrote "meh" to them, not me.

And no, statistically they don't score the same amount of goals. Arnautovic has more than twice the minutes and less goals. He is also 7 years older, and takes more shots than Schick for example. There is a reason Arnautovic went from Bremen to Stoke.

Schick certainly looks like he can become much more IF he continues at this pace. He does too many things right on the pitch.

Doesn't look like Bergkamp's goal at all but still a really lovely piece of skill to pull off. Definitely a Serie A purchase though unless other clubs in the big(ger) leagues feel like taking a gamble.

My amateur point of view states he'll do well in La Liga (and obviously Serie A, duh) but I think he should probably stay away from the EPL. Not sure about Germany or France though.

Juve: €25m and Bentancur for Schick?

Juventus are reportedly close to snapping up Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick for €25m plus the loan of Rodrigo Bentancur.

There were already suggestions over the last few days that Juve were intensifying their interest, as Inter had been in talks with Samp for a while.

According to Mediaset Premium, the key may well be in the extras that the Bianconeri could provide as part of the deal.

They would pay €25m plus bonuses for the 21-year-old Schick and leave him on loan at Sampdoria for 2017-18.

This represents a huge profit, as the Blucerchiati only bought the Czech talent from Sparta Prague for €4m in July 2016.

He has already scored 12 goals with three assists in 30 competitive games for Sampdoria, including this weekend’s Dennis Bergkamp-esque effort against Crotone.

Juve can also send Bentancur on loan to Samp in order to gain Serie A experience after his transfer from Boca Juniors.

The Uruguayan midfielder turns 20 in June and his option was activated for €10.5m.
