can't remember more cancerous enemy than him in any game
I remember having to fight one or two really OP versions at once
omyo of course so it wasn't that difficult but they are annoying
how far in are you now? think I might go back and play the DLC sometime

Just finished the twilight mission with the ogress
She was the easiest part. Not sure if it's a glitch but if it stay extremely close to her and move left. She can't hit you.
Easiest boss in the game so far.

Decided I'm going to jump back into the AC series with Origins. Especially since there's nothing that I want to play this year.
also did anyone here ever check out Ghost Recon Wildlands? I honestly hear nothing but great things about it as a co-op experience

Did you get to the sub mission where you have to fight two at once

Firenze wrote:It's fairly easy to beat the two samurai, forget the name, just kept kiting the rock
i never did beat nobunaga and his wife
that final boss/epilogue stuff was cool too, im in for the sequel whenever it gets made
Holy shit man that room with the Kelley clones is *bleep* cancer. I nearly kissed my housemate when I beat it.
And then you meet Hundred Eyes and his one shot lasers (: Surprisingly beat him in my third try.
Phoenix Guardian Spirit is by far the best in the game. Saorise was such a disappointment. I legit took Nue from full health to death with one Phoenix bar

Re: General Games Discussion
spoilers for RG ffs
but yeah, took me 2-3 attempts in that room..for once I couldn't really omyo cheese
also took me two attempts for Hundred Eyes
but the epilogue showed me they can absolutely take the game out of the feudal japan setting and make it really good, I hope we get a mixture of cultures in a sequel tbh with equal focus, maybe different regions in different areas
I honestly liked it more than DS3 as an overall experience, though it's close, more enemy variety in the sequel and souls type games have a definite challenger on their hands

I played the first two a long time ago, but I honestly don't remember much of the second one. All I remember is that the game wasn't as good as the first one. A lot of people claim that the DLCs for it were great, though. Looking forward to playing those for the first time.

Re: General Games Discussion
Finally beat Baldur's Gate saga, took about 200 hours. Toughest enemies vary based on your skill or abilities at the time, but I had most difficult beating dragon Firkaag and djinni Vidyadhar which probably took more than few hours collectively. Demogorgon was also tough and that battle before it was the only one I had to cheese out, where I planted about 40 Skull Traps before the battle and sacrificed a companion temporarily.
Oh my god what a series, easily one of the best continuous game series ever, even today. Very strategic rpg, which I liked.

What are your thoughts on Dragon Age, its spiritual successor?
Origins is up there among the GOAT RPGs imo.

Re: General Games Discussion
I have only played Origins through, when it was released. What I remember it was good, great characters and cutscenes. For me turn based game was fine back then, but not now and it has put me off from the sequels.M99 wrote:Harmonica wrote:Finally beat Baldur's Gate saga, took about 200 hours. I really don't understand the benefit of turn based, when real time with pause gives the same control but more action when you so choose. It's like shall we make game worse, or better.

wipe the 2nd out off your mind tbh. 1 and 3 are the goats since Ken Levine wrote them. 2nd was just a money grabber.
DLC was better than the main game lol

Speaking of which, Mole was right about Metro. Its such a fantastic story driven FPS.
Man I missed playing games like that. Back in my PC days I used to download a lot of them at my leisure. Need to take advantage of PS+ deals more. Hope Wolfenstein goes on sale soon.
