SOTC was announced for 2018 at the conference btw, which means if Sony what says holds true that will come out in the first half of 2018.

Plus they didn't announce it at their conference but Yakuza 6 is early 2018 too.

Basically as i gather it, if all this holds the only game not announced at E3 for 2017/18 is Days Gone.

There's also stuff at the end of this year like GT Sport, Knack 2 and Ni No Kuni 2 if people like those games but not really big exclusives to us

Any beta coming soon for Destiny 2 & BF2?

Destiny is in July I think, don't think a date has been confirmed for Battlefront yet.

There's something about pre ordering for early access to the beta but not sure about it in general.

also I've just seen this big sale for PSPLUS members on PS4 Mole, tempted by the Hitman season pass for 17.99, how much content do you get? you played and liked it right

Metro collection for 7.49 seems a good deal too

Hitman is great.

As for content if memory serves you get 6 different levels, bonus missions with different contract hits, elusive targets which are basically timed missions they put up every now and again and you have to complete it before time is up.

Real strength is how replayable it is because of the different ways you can approach a mission.

I once killed a target by throwing a propane tank down a shaft and the target happened to randomly walking down the fire place.

I only stopped playing it because i got stuck in 2nd to last level, i might get back to it actually.

Thats the worst mission but power through it because the last one is the best.

I assumed that was going to be the case tbh, no way in hell Japan could be a bad level.

Buying it off my mate as well soon.

That and Nier is the only games i want to buy before September tbh.

Nier is still full price though, i don't see the point in paying full price for a game which has been out for nearly 5 months

I like a lot of things about Yakuza 0, but the first 1-2 hours of the game is super slow paced, and there are so many peculiar, Japanese elements in the game that I can't promise anyone that they would definitely like it. Also, the combat is hit or miss depending on your preference. Still, Firenze is a scrub for not giving it a chance. Objectively speaking, it's a well polished game with a good story. I personally find the Japan/Yakuza setting interesting, and content-wise it provides a lot within the two, relatively small, playable areas that are modelled after Japanese cities and how they looked during the 80s.

I've played some of the other Yakuza games, and I enjoyed seeing the surprisingly softer, more sensible sides to one of the main characters, who's a complete psychopath in the present-time games in the series. With that being said, you don't need any prior knowledge of the franchise. You won't lose sleep over missing a few references

Mole I am surprised you just threw out cash based on a recommendation that Thimmy gave or in general. While Thimmy knows what he is speaking to video games or in general, his idea and liking for them variates in what he see's or finds in them compared to yours. Risky move.

Yakuza 0 will be like what Shenmue was for me. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea but I loved it for its attention to detail and of course, given I am mortally obsessed with anything Japan, its culture and Japan in the 80s.

Yakuza is good but depends for westerners based on their liking for that culture and has a very Japanese video game feel to it.

You'll either love it or hate it. Im assuming youre not a Japanophile, like I.

I have friends who praised it too, the Thimmy part was a bit of a joke tbh.

I got it for £20 so I won't be too mad if I don't like it, I like to think of it a risk-reward type thing.

But we'll see, also I do make stupid impulse buys from time to time so maybe it will be that.
