I don't know why other Arsenal fans are thinking Wigglesworth is joking when he's got a legitimate point. Our place in the top four next year is far from guaranteed and we do have some serious competition this time.

Granted Liverpool have, but City? They've lost Given, look likely to lose Tevez and Adebayor and Boeteng's gone after all the hype from last season. Only significant signing they've made thus far is Clichy and i wouldn't hold my breath on him setting Eastlands alight any time soon

B) You are correct, but I was more thinking along the lines of players City will sign by the end of August and judging by the kind of name Mancini has mentioned they look to be quality players.

According to Optajoe, over the last five seasons fabregas has assisted more than xavi and iniesta in their respective leagues. Chances created:

Fabregas = 466
Xavi = 455
Iniesta = 214
Goals

Fabregas = 30
Xavi = 22
Iniesta = 22

Arsenal have a fantastic team, but they're getting rid of Nasri and possibly Fabregas, and we all know how Wenger ~~buys~~ promotes replacements.
