I'm sure someone would argue about his legendary status but he was an excellent footballer and would definitely look back at his playing career with a smile.

One of the few players who I've seen that can get away from yellow and red cards regardless of their "tackling".

What a monstrous career he had. For me, one of the best midfielders of this generation and a GOAT in his role.

Can't wait to see him in a coaching role, probably at Liverpool!?
